The description of Appraiser’s Identify (Appraise) skill says the chances of obtaining more sockets and higher potential increase with the skill level. As of the latest update, any gears found in dungeons could have status or additional damages such as STR, CON or increase physical attack, after the use of Appraiser’s Identify skill. Now I’m confused about the effect of its skill level, because the number of sockets and potential is fixed. Anyone know about the difference of the skill level?

You made a point. They should have fixed the skill and make going max Identify worth. “Higher chance to get max/near max stats” or anything similar to that is great. Make it different than those lv1 or lv2 shop, make Indentify a real business that we need to master because in the old system i dont see any considerable difference between going 1 and going 5 Indentify, the RNG still plays a really big roll and those skill levels only help a tiny bit.
Identify level increases the chance for more lines of random stats based on it’s level now.
Or limit the maximum level to 1 (Lv 1 Master).
Since Blindside 5 and Over Estimate 3 are the core reason to choose Appraiser due to insanely high DPS, only 7 points are left for the other skills. If Identify needs 1 point, it is easy to decide to put 5 points for Devaluation.
they don’t want you to max everything. or you would be able to identify 5+1 with a pvp or farmer char.
