The Core Issue at Play

I never agree with making us pay to play a F2P game, I’m just trying to come up with a hotfix so this game don’t die as fast + making a lot of players play the game in less than 90 days.

Being honest here, it’s hard to believe they will do something drastic right now, probable they won’t open the servers for free in a near future, so I’m trying to make some progress at least.

Not ideal for sure, but way better than what they want to shove on our throats…

That’s more than I can expct from the Payday 2 team at least.

Yeah it’s looking pretty grim on Steam. Lots of flags. IMC needs to wake up and talk to the community, fast.

That’s where the controversy lies though, as you are not forced to pay for the game, you just get the shittier end of the stick with a 3 month wait. I’m not defending the decision, it’s just an issue with a larger gray area.

haha true. but well. lets just hope rather than have faith in IMC to rectify their mistake.

Has anything ever been taken off of the greenlight due to incessant flagging? I know plenty of people had their qualms over Hatred, but it got through relatively unscathed.

No idea actually. I hope Steam at least talks with IMC. It might smarten them up.

I’m going to assume Steam is fine with this, since they allowed IMC to make these payment options available as of 16th March.

I doubt IMC would say they’d have these options out by tomorrow if they hadn’t got confirmation from their platform first.

Gray as extortion, since they pull that rug on the last minute.

If they were honest they could have do this almost the same way without anyone getting mad, actually they could have been praised.

They could have announced that the game were to be release on June, show us a date and promised to keep us informed, and at the end of the announcement they could have just said they were making something special for those willing to support IMC financially.

Couple of weeks later they could have just posted the Founder Pack thing without backlash.

Instead they simple gave us a Soon middle finger for +15 days then, hey you want to play Soon? 50 USD or go home dork!

Yeah the problem is the player flagging the game weren’t there when “steam agreed” to the payment option.

There’re ll be a serious need of reconsideration if this keeps up.

AND this is the point people actually talking about “you whine cuz you don’t have the money” refuse to understand.

What a silly argument.

You keep pumping out ideas like this and it just makes me more sad about the reality of the situation.

well, it is indeed a scam.

I’m actually waiting for it to pop up on steam to down vote sadly.

what makes you think I don’t have money? I have a house, a wife, a job… money isn’t the problem. People and the way they deal with them that is.

You mother never teached you respect? care for others? can someone be so selfish…

I can pay, but can everybody that I played with on CBT & CBT2? those who I share some time, spend some time, talk and play? People how love the game and the experience as much as me?

Wth dude, grow up…

Ehm… excuse me? who ever said anything about this? O.o

He meant that people who complain about such things refuse to understand that it could have been much more efficient with a system like yours
