The clock in game

Hello! I intend to post more of my impressions of the game as I play it more, but for now, there’s something that might be a little problem for someone besides me.

I’ve looked for other other topics about the clock but I wasn’t able to find anything.

So, it really bothers me that the clock doesn’t show the same hour that my computer shows. The clock always shows the hour of some other area, always something like 3h late. Is there any way to configure that? If there isn’t, it should be a modification to be considered.

I’f there’s a way to solve this problem, I would be glad to know about it.

your bothered by the fact it shows server time instead of your local time? like most mmo servers do.

Clock shows the time at the Server computer, not your computer.

This makes it easier for you to know when the server will be down when IMC goes “Hey all, we’re going to close the server for maintenence from 6:00 - 6:10.”

Also good to know for things like dungeon reset times etc

there needs to be an option in the games settings menu to show server time and local time!!! As certainmmos do now (GW2, FFXIV and TERA)

Well, most mmos I’ve played had a local clock (like WoW and Wildstar) and I prefer that way, but i also can see your point, so it should at least be optional.

Edit: There could be also two of them, if it’s so important. One local and one from the server.

i think the server you were on just happened to be the same time as your local because when i played wow it was server time. Mind you i havent played in years so it may have changed.

But that said having a option for local time would be a nice quality of life thing, i see no reason why we cant have it but i doubt it will be a priority.
