Or class, bass, mass, assist, passive, massive. I’m just assuming you can’t since they have ass in them too. Cant say assume either. Yea, they need to do something about it.

This is totally what is needed. Being able to turn in/off the censorship.
Also the fact that the whole sentence is censored… why ?! How many times I have to retype a full sentence because I forgot that I can’t say “class” … I don’t understand.
Please, make it so:
- only the words are censored, not words containing the censored letters,
- an option to turn it on/off.
The first one at least is definitely a must do.
They should put an option to whether turn the filter on/off.

Filter on and off would be fantastic! This game is Teen rated. I think the average teen can handle basic swears.
Personally me i don’t care what people type and say and i dont get offended nor bothered by peoples words.
But then again there are always sensitive people who get bothered by trolls. about anything religion, opinion, and politic’s.
If you don’t like when someone says something your not obligated to reply! you can always walk away.
FYI i hate sensitive people. haha
Last week for a few days, they changed it so that typing ‘assume’ or ‘class’ will be censored as ** ume and cl ** instead of the entire sentence becoming **. But I think a lot of the changes they made broke the client, so it is now reverted back to censoring the entire sentence.
In this day and age, I will never understand why some T multiplayer games have censoring.
Sometimes I wonder if adults these days know what kind of life their kids are living in as of right now. You can find swear words being said casually almost anywhere as of right now. On the internet, and even off it. Even in books.

So, I just found out the word button gets censored too. Apparently butt is a curse word.
I think I just realized this game is marketed towards kids and not their RO fanbase who are old enough to not need censoring. Makes sense. kids like linear games where you dont need to think. The flashy explosions when you kill stuff. The easy bosses/mobs. People who have time to grind all day. I guess they can run the game off of allowance money.
I feel like i’ve encountered this censoring system before in another game. I think they just reused an outdated censoring system for the test. Hopefully this is just for this beta test and in live there will be better ways to do this. But it’s good to let them know we’re against it this way.
