Tree of Savior Forum

The best part of people spamming redundant complaint threads is

■■■■ you bit*ch. …l…

FF14 runs smoothly on it’s starting weeks, so what’s your next reasoning, a AAA company or experience company? Come on you’re not a fanboy at all but a masochist.

Define “all channels” because as far as I remamber most maps had no more than 2 channels.

I was racing during the 2nd icbt and I was facing this problem constantly that I had to compete with other racing group for grind spots and exp, because there was 1 channel only in 90% of areas past lvl 60-70.

So please enlighten me what do you mean “all channels”?
In my understanding these maps couldn’t even house a thausand ppl.

I pretty much posted 4 above why, you cant always assume they can fix the bugs on beta, fixed bugs can bug the system again under different circumstances. That why many people being called “white Knights” are saying to give it time (by that it means a few months) dont assume give it time means hours, cuz people seem to associate give it time with short term.

customers will not give time, they’re developing the game since 2012. They rushed the launch, launched the game in a unfinished state because most probably investitors pressioned them because they’re developing the game for too much time already.

We’ll not have patience because we’re paying customers and we want to have fun, we cant have fun while the game dont even work. Its how the gaming ( and every ) industry works, if this game wasnt ready to be launched its their fault.

First impression counts, IMC clearly dont have money or dont give a ■■■■ about the game anymore, what developing team would not have a backup team working overtime at launch week? Every ■■■■■■■ game have it.

The game was launched in a incomplete state, it dont even have end game content, every half minded person knows that this game was rushed either because investitors pressioned the devs or the developing money gone so they needed to milk some money to keep developing.

Not really, they did lots of CBTs, koreans and globals, before this “final” release, and the same bugs and problems that where there at the CBTs are there again, that is the point, they had months to fix things up, but no, actually the CBT was better than the current stat of the game.

What was all the point on doing CBTs if the same bugs that were pointed out are there again for the “final” release? If they haven’t fixed it in 3-4 months why would you think they will fix it in the following 1-2 weeks, or 1-2 months?

That i can get behind, that is exactly why the people that dont care are just playing and waiting to see what happens on the next few months. At the end of the day if i 5 months of game and nothing changes ill just be out the 50dollars which to be honest is nothing more than a meal at low end restaurant like a buffet nothing to fret so much about. Even worst it could just be one of those items you buy but never use.

TLDR: Yes i think you are right saying it is unfinished, but anybody just like you could off figure that out and get a full refund like many have done and move on.

I dont want to refund, i like the game and i want it finished and prospering, they can take my money. Its because i want this game alive that i’m complaining, because better complain than sit and watch the game i like die because missmanaging…

Not everyone is like me, and i and a few people cannot sustain tree of savior, they need to fix it asap or people will run away from this game and it’ll die fast ( Ktos is dying pretty fast already…)

Fixed that for you. Solving the problem and avoiding it entirely are two differently completely things.

Do you really believe complaining will solve anything. People expecting things to be fix within hours are wrong from any stand point. Not even broken street lights get fixed like that when everyone is off. The best thing to do if you really care for the game is to wait for maint to start fixing issues. On that note, spamming about how no trading and missing features etc is not helping the game at all. Put it on the suggestion and wait, also realize that just because you think is a good idea dont mean other so.

Complains solve things, because complains can make the game be very unpopular and die. They’ll be afraid of this and will give atention to it. People are tired of being good guy, they had months to fix reported bugs from icbt that are still present to the game. People will not wait months, they’ll leave and leave a negative review of the game.

They’re not even working on the fix since they’re being amateurish and dont work on weekends. almost 12 hours of downtime and not even a notification or update about the issue.

problem not solved you d/c as soon as you zone.

23k+ people online and playing, i doubt this game will be unpopular and die. Most of the complains will be ignored or remain what they are cry’s for attentions on forums. I dont mean it directly at you, but as someone that has been a forum warrior in the wow forums. All this omg this sucks thread will be:

A) deleted B)left to be a flaming lounge.

The reality behind everything is that looking at the numbers statistics says most players are not bothered by the concern being voiced on the forums, at least not enough to deter them from playing the game.

All 23,000 of those people have or are forming their own opinions of the game.

Them playing doesn’t say what they’re thinking of the game while playing. Some of the people on this forum right now are part of those 23,000 and are voicing their opinion, likewise some Korean players voice their opinions, yes while they are playing. Your argument is poor and you’re certainly bright enough to put more thought into it.
It is rather telling that people who critique the game, while playing it generally like the game and have issues with it that hinder their enjoyment of it, or that they believe could enhance their (and possible others) enjoyment of the game if they were rectified. That’s the point of feedback.

What i was getting at is, that after reading many of the surging threads more people are oki with how the game is than those that do not.

switch again on log in?

No it did not it took them almost 1 hole day to get that running smoothly the amount of errors it had and also ps4 players could not play for a hole week.

You should look up what hypocrisy actually is…

Your example is far from hypocrisy in that just because you have to eat food to survive doesn’t mean you don’t like the taste or texture of it.

Same goes with this. Just because people create complaints doesn’t mean they don’t care. It’s the exact opposite, actually. If people didn’t care they’d just leave… like a lot of people did.

Hypocrisy would be me telling YOU not to do something and then ME doing it. Can you grasp the difference?

Design -> Accept Complaint -> Improve Design

The infinity loop above is how a good developer create their product. We are not talking about constructive suggestion here, but complaint, which is a valid form of input provided the developer is competent to process it.

I’m baffled at how many white knights that don’t understand about this.

You and I are reading vastly different threads then, my friend.

And there, in itself, lies the inability to “look” at something and see reality. As stated by the person you are quoting: You cannot possibly know how the majority of people currently NOR will feel about the game itself.

Since most games fail, in large part due to the inability to understand and then listen to the playerbase, I’m going to go ahead and, without need for much courage, claim that this game floats on that same scale and will fail if they follow the same old model of ignoring the playerbase for the sake of money.

Of course… this is what the industry has boiled down to. Spend 4 years making a game. Maximize the money you earn within the first two months and ensure it’s making X amount for the next four, then crash it and let it fold over. Meanwhile, most of your development team has already moved on to the next money flop.

Welcome to the market. Don’t believe that? There are plenty of developer blogs out there about the inside of the industry… and you people keep expecting companies tied to publishers and investors to create games for you to enjoy hahahaha

Doing the same thing while expecting different results is insanity (NOT to be confused with science… in that they expect replicated results from their first test on)
