Finally! Someone who I can say deserves CommanderLoad limbo
You cant sustain an entire enterprise sadly.
Everyone with a half mind knows that if they keeps with this shitty support game will bleed fast and hard after the initial hype because the lack of end game content and tons of bugs that were reported 4 months ago.
So thatâs how theyâre supposed to treat their customers? Oh sorry guys, our game came out less than a week ago so weâre just going to ignore all of your concerns.
@Vektrio First impressions are everything. This is true in real life and virtual. IMC is not making a good first impression with Tree of Savior. This is not IMCâs first game, and if you work in the industry you understand some simple things. One of those things is the importance of a good game launch.
Iâve been in the closed beta and they had the same issues with buggy quests, 2 minute+ response times on quests and item interaction. Guess what, they are still here, in spades.
They have had ample time to test these issues, stress test the servers, and plug issues that could make the launch abysmal. Maybe for long time fans who truely long for this game, they will put up with this amateur stuff, but as you can tell from the steam reviews, most will not. And they shouldnt have to either. There is a development cycle designed to address these exact issues.
People should complain. They should complain often and fiercely. These arent children, they are adults and this is a business. It may be unfortunate, but they will learn fast and hard, or they will fail. Its just how life is.
okay wait before I leave gotta get in my 2 cents:
workers need sleep. If theyâre shortstaffed, donât be unreasonable and expect them to crunch for as long as their bodies can handle it. Blame their higher ups for underestimating their game and not staffing properly for launch. They did try to do a maintenence for this issue last night, but it didnât work- partially I think because they rushed it and set a 40 minute time limit for themselves.
On that note, yeah, give them more time. Iâd rather the server be down for 4 hours and have a fix than the server be down for another 30 only to have it mess up again. bugs arenât just a fix-and-done, they need to test it and look out for the bugs that fixing bugs creates because coding is fun and etc
but honestly OP, if none of these threads matter, why exactly would you create this thread? Youâre so stringent about ânegativityâ but your post does nothing but create more of it, from both yourself and anyone locked out of the game at the moment. you trolling or something? or feel like you really need to be the beacon of light for a company you donât work for? Or just reaaaally love attention? i donât see what youâre trying to do, though I guess I donât need to. later alligator.
Esp when you paid for it.
And what the white knights donât understand while spewing their âquit if you donât likeâ nonsense is that THIS GAME IS ON STEAM, they have reviews in steam. Bad reviews = no new players = you playing by yourself.
They should have a backup team . Every game has overtime working team at first weeks after launch because â â â â happens. IMC is being amateurish for not doing this.
yeah and most companies I wonât say what game cough RO2 are too cheap too hire people because they want to make the most money off this game as possible. If this wasnât true then they would go with the $19.00 a month option.
Riddle me this riddle me that, now the jokes on me because I bought all three packs. A lag here a lag there aye aye commander another load fail we shall prepare. we are sorry for the inconvenience and the log in despair, complimentary xp boosts for you to mentally digest with glare. Enjoy our delete companion feature as itâs the latest hardcore trend in Korea.
That like saying i want my steak rare, but complain because is to bloody. The ones that payed for EA should off known how it is when you gain access to a game before it is officially released to the public. Just because you were in beta and see the same bugs dont mean they did not get fixed. In a way EA is giving them the chance to see how the server react to a massive influx of people which im pretty sure is way bigger than the beta testers sample.
If im going to analyze the comments about the same bugs, i would lean more to the fact that the fixed they implemented on beta did not work when the servers got hammered with so many players
If you believe the game is going to be in the same state 2-3 months you are living up to âyouâre either retard or too dumbâ as you put it.
My older sister has been playing WoW since the day it launched.
She agrees that TOS is one of the more smoother launches atleast the game is playable
apparently when WoW apparrently after one of its imfamus $40 expansions NOTHING worked!
Interacting with some NPCs crashed the client, and some components of the expansion were not applying at all, and they had an emergency maint the next dayâŚ
Then the servers went down for nearly 2 days immediately after the maint xDâŚ
donât forget diablo 3 error 37 that made the game unplayable.
Not for long⌠You know there was thausands of beta testers first week of betas too⌠do you know how many was left by the end of each beta test?
Hint:
Not many,
So while you think youâre being clever,do keep watching the numbers plummet.
If you where playing you wouldnt be on the forums. U must be playing LordCommanderFail like the rest of us. Lets all redeem those free items that will expire before we can use them because we cant log in.
actually im playing it, cus iâm not questing in comander maps, but iâm really concerned about the gameâs future, and i believe that we need to make noise or nobody will hear us
I mean⌠well they are a slightly amateur company anywayâŚ
they made like what⌠one or 2 other games?
Which you wouldent even know about becase they dont even have an advertisement teamâŚ
they donât have much experience under their belts, or the funds to pay for all these HRs to pay their workers for working over time fixing EVERYTHING and adhearing to EVERY complaint with TOS.
So cut them some slack
Log in on a different channel = problem solved
Im going to have to disagree, since all th channels in the lvl 180-200 areas were 100% full for about a week near then end of ICTB2
how many thousands? where there 20k+ i dont think so? i wasnt trying to be clever, i stated a fact. Beta test sometimes dont account for player influx and other networking/programming issues, even with plenty of stress test done games have issues at the start.
the game was in this state or even better ( seriously ) 3 months ago at iCBT2. So your argument is invalid.
They had roughly 4 months to fix icbt bugs but 95% of them are still present in the game atm.
