The best part of people spamming redundant complaint threads is

Reality is been playing all day w.o any issues at all(Orshra), while using my second screen to pretty much deter others from failing to use their own head and jump the omg IMC suck bandwagon. While you since i read some of your posts and many other have spend their time flaming quite a bit.

The other reality is that regardless of all this hate talk because of how slow they are to fix the known issues wont make them work faster. ■■■■ will get down eventually, is not the first or last time false advertisement pull some gullible believers into something. It is known that the game is unfinished, unpolished, etc… but the forums post wont change that at all, like many others i will tell you the same thing give them time.

This whole let me start thread make myself known as the community bad ass is nothing more than a cry for attention. Most of those complaining wont quit. If they do oh well less lag for us.

I think u never played wow if you think this to quote yourself is true:[quote=“layenem, post:61, topic:174014”]
Since most games fail, in large part due to the inability to understand and then listen to the playerbase,

I dont think im the fool here buddy, im well aware they are trying to milk a cow that has malnutrition, the thing is idc since so far i played the game from day one with minimal issues, but let me tell you something E.A has been doing that for a while and still making money.

I dont rebuke ur opinion, i merely do not agree with it.

You should really learn to read. If you read even a quarter of my posts you’ll quickly note my issue isn’t with IMC but with people who have zero self respect as a consumer and tolerate the disregard of who they are and what they are worth.

Am I disappointed to see zero communication from IMC? Absolutely. Do I think they suck? Impossible to make a sound determination on that. They poorly handled EA but one event doesn’t suck make

what justifies a good handled EA? let me guess runs perfectly to your every wish’s… must be your first EA I am taking a guess at.

I did read your post, i knew well this one post had nothing punting IMC. The thing is, im one of those people that buys an apple, if it is comes bad i trow it away or cut the bad and eat it. I dont think i have to get out of my house and tell my neighbors i just found a bad apple at the store. Not sure if you catch my drift. Also dude most of the post read like a bring me the tin foil hat theory.
Ill use myself as an example of a consumer:

  1. I did not play beta, to me this is my first encounter with the game

  2. I played many open weeks of other mmos, wow, gw, eso, etc… to know how bad launch week is.(Im experienced on crappy starts that turn into good games)

  3. I like to give them more than a week to judge the product as faulty, or bad. Thinking they got my money and i have this crappy game full of issues.

Also the issue is i had not problems playing all the way to 72, i know not to high but i been reading and take it super slow and checking everywhere. The only thing we found was 1 side quest we could not complete, and a lot of spacial graphical buggy areas(the invisi wall, walking into walls, and stairs). Nothing major.

I’m lv 120 now mostly from exp cards and the token I might add doing 100% in each area from both starting zones and I have experienced command load fail but changed channel so that fixed that about 4 times mostly on Friday I have had 6 crash’s two on my end because my internet conked out lol but 4 due to just simple crashing other then that its been fine.

At the moment I don’t believe this game deserves the amount of negative response’s it has been getting I think most of them are people over reacting from playing there first MMO early access it reminds me of a person who went crazy because a rare loot dropped at low lv and someone nabbed it before them and they just went to town on him I for one was the one who grabbed the loot :stuck_out_tongue:

Blasto the Jellyfish?

Huh? Most of complaints (not talking about this game specifically) are completely invalid as input.

No, good developers do it like this:

Good Design -> Accept Valid Complaints aka Constructive Feedback -> Improve Feedback -> Improve Design based on Improved Feedback

You’re talking about a single apple. The LOOSE equivelent to that would be a single quest not working. One or two people might make a post saying “Quest X doesn’t work. Doesn’t hinder progression.”

What you’re suggesting is that we consider EVERYTHING, to include lack of communication AND lack of the ability to play, as a “single apple, no one needs to know, just suffer alone” type of bullshit. If you want to live in an isolated world, go for it. Most people don’t. That’s idiotic. If you want to be so isolated then why are you even here playing an MMO?

And I’m happy that you haven’t experienced the same crap that many of us have. That’s anecdotal, however, and rather pompous to assume that because you had a very smooth play through that everyone else should shut their mouths and deal with whatever issues they have.

Here’s my question to you: If the company didn’t want legit feedback (I’m not talking about the idiots I’m talking about legit feedback) then why did they setup the forums? If they didn’t want people talking to each other then why the forums?

The company doesn’t even support your thought process.

How does overall performance have anything to do with how a company handles an EA?

A good HANDLED EA is one where the company is talking with the consumer… it’s called OPEN DIALOGUE and it is absolutely an imperative feature of any company that wants to have a successful MMO.

Don’t believe that? I’ve got a list of failed MMORPGS and successful MMORPGs and one of two commonalities between ALL OF THEM is whether or not a company was communicating with its players.

You want your devs to be gods? Go for it. I’ll leave you to it. I don’t. Devs are just as human as you and I. Hell they are stressed beyond belief! They won’t ever see everything - this is highly evident in how abilities never work “as intended” because PLAYERS always find unique ways to use them.

I’ve been around since EQ1 and I’ve watched this industry, immediately after WoW launch (which oddly enough was both the most botched launch in MMO history AND the most successful recovery of all time BECAUSE THE COMPANY WAS OPEN, HONEST, AND IN CONSTANT DIALOGUE WITH THE PLAYER BASE), quickly turn into a pile of lying, dirty, money-grubbing pieces of trash.

Make a game that’s high quality and you’ll make money for years. Make a game designed to make money and you’ll make money for months. People constantly say things like “F2P games make more money than P2P games” and statistically that’s correct if you ONLY CONSIDER the first 6 months of a F2P game’s lifespan… once you get beyond that it sways heavily in the other direction. So argue all you want about that but there’s zero longevity and if you’re a real gamer you want games with substance… if you’re just looking to give your money to people then why are you doing it here? Just head over to a GoFundMe or a KickStarter or something and give money to a random person.

Tbh I thought this was an obvious troll thread, surprised to see people still replying. Anyway, carry on.

A good developer is able to extract information from complaint alone.

Also, a good developer tends to have more audience with constructive feedback.

The players don’t make a good developer. A good developer automatically increase the amount of constructive players.

This game deserves shtty kid like us anyway.

Edit: You should probably read about product design, my loop over there is the basic in product design.

That shows how many people are unable to play and is joining the fun here.

You know what is the best part? The game had 44.000 players on the start even with login ques and all, and managed to get below 50% player retention in less than a week while people like you try to white knight with all the energy from your disgusting black soul.
How 'bout your ilk stops trying to bash those who want the game live up to its potential and instead join in and find faults with it and report them. Seeing how we are playing a paid beta.

Second: If something is screwed up with your product you complain so it gets fixed. If its not fixed then you complain again, and again and again until its fixed.

Third: With this kind of ability to keep players logged in, the game has at most 2 more weeks before its unplayable due to low population. Low pop means a much smaller paying customer base too. And seeing how the Steam release is on fire and burning down very quick with its rating falling now 10% a day I would not be surprised if the F2P release would not be able to bring half of the pop lost. Of course that would require critical thinking rather than flamboyant hype induced fanboyism.

bro…u know that ppl work, and study, if its always more than 20k+ ppl, so theres way more than 40k ppl playing the game

I think people are overreacting that pretty much it. All that other sarcastic ■■■■ on your post im going to ignore on the grounds that if wanted to take part of the flaming war with you, i would lower myself to insults from the start. You can carry on with your bitter rage, at the end of the day the sad reality is that im playing and you are wasting time nurturing a lets get IMC head for not making my life easy mentality under the idea that you are making smart remarks about how consumers should know their value et… It has been 5 days since EA, idc how they handled it, ■■■■ happens on all aspect of life and making riots and raging about it never solves anything. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you will lower your BP.

I guess you did not get the apple metaphor at all, for all you self assume intellectual IQ takes you a while to realize what others are saying to you. Let me show you a better example since that was to much for you:

In the US cars get recalled a lot(Using this as problem with the product) normally for mech or featured issues, they get fixed within a few days and are given back to you. I think that was simple enough so you can apply it to our current situation. People dont go lets take arms, brother and sisters take down the car industry as they secretly want to screw with us. Also im not the only playing w.o problems, so no it had nothing to do with the suffer alone type BS you are implying.

Like i mentioned before if you keep bringing it up after it is listed on the “Known Issues” is just a cry for attention. Selfish entitlement type deal that says you have to fix everything now, because i say so type stuff.

No, it’s like going to a restaurant, complaining about how long it’s taking them to bring you your food when they are short on workers with the entire restaurant booming with customers because it just opened.

Any sane person would either not have gone to that restaurant and come back another time, but you people are literally complaining about your own ignorance.

If you have ever left your basement, things like that happen in the real world everyday. There is always a delay of service when there are too many customers to handle and it’s completely normal. That is what you and many others fail to understand because you are entitled brats.

I expect the lags and DC’s and errors…what bothers me is the ■■■■■■■ shitty
daily dungeons, the respawns times and the trading that can kill this game real fast. I’m having a hard time convincing friends to play with the abysmal restrictions. I still find the game fun but ■■■■…there’s a lot of bad ■■■■ happening in the game.
Edit: ^ Build a blocks cuss words lol.

Isn’t that sincerity? You stand up for what you think is wrong contrary to just look at the ground and say nothing.

You know whats funny that’s called game mechanics just because another mmo does not have restrictions it should not be proclaimed as the norm and that you believe every mmo should follow it I personally accept the restrictions because I grow tired of everyone gaining the same armour in such a short time span it does not feel epic it just feels like common gear when its meant to be epic…

It’s called changes for no apparent reasons.
5 to 2 dungeon runs a day…for any dungeon is ■■■■■■■ retarded.
24hrs until I can get silver from ONE ITEM I sold?
ONE item sold at a time?
Can’t buy back items? For what? RMT’s? When they still run rampat.
If they really wanted to stop it, NO TRADE AT ALL PERIOD, even with Token’s.
Even then I am sure RMT’s would find a way.
Horrible Spawn rates, everyone’s in a laggy vertigo.

Some MMO’s need to look at other MMO’s and get some idea’s.
This is the most restricting game I ever played.
They should of went all or nothing, and not give us these ‘shitty’ mechanics.
