So i’ve read some threads about schwarzer reiter, seems like A2-QS3-SR and A2-R3-SR are the two meta builds.
Im trying to decide which way to go. I was hoping experienced players can give me some pros and cons of each. Im mainly interested in PvE btw.

Ranger. If you REALLY can’t stand levelling a ranger, go QS (or at least this was the case for me.) Otherwise, ranger is better especially for ET; you’ll be running with melstis buff so steady aim would be permanent too.
The new Limacon is like a mini-running shot so it’s quite redundant to go qs when rank 8 comes.
Go Ranger, you have way more options for weapons, especially with the new 315 weapons ktos just got.

Yea i played ranger and QS before, and ranger definitely suits my style better. But i dunno if thats gonna change when i become schwarzer reiter, thats why i kinda wanna compare the 2.
Ranger-PRO
Ranger is better as DPS especially you have kavis C3 in your party.
Ranger buff skill can use with every missile skill
Ranger is faster to leveling-clear group of mob
Ranger can use every skills while mount
Ranger can do combo with full draw
Ranger-CON
Ranger drain a lot of mana.
Ranger need close range style to play
Ranger have a little down time while waiting cd (but it fine when you become SR2-3)
QS-PRO
QS is better for fight 1-1 with boss & elite mob
QS have more mobility while attack
QS have 2 argo skill it’s easy to lure mob, has 1 skill debuf to remove enemies Crit def and has 1 stun skill.
QS have better defensive against archer & swordman
QS running shot will boost a lot with buff skill especially Divine Might, Enchant Fire, Quicken, Sacrament, Swell Left Arm
QS’s CON
QS’s Running shot scaling with skill only(no attribute boost) need to use a weapon+skill lvl & gem to keep scale this skill
QS’s Best Defensive need to unmount to use. You need to remount again after use
QS not good at fight with group of mob.

Deploy Pavise & Scatter Caltrops you can test it in QS c1
Oh i see… Pavise cannot be used while mounted…
Nvm, i will go ranger. The only thing that attracts me in QS is luring mobs.

Yap if you need to drag mob while you are ranger. Just use bound shot
