YEAH SCREW PEOPLE WHO WANT TO HAVE FUN !! I’M NOT PLAYING VIDEO GAMES TO HAVE FUN, SERIOUS BUSINESS BRO !!
I like to have fun. But i also like having purpose and being successful. Do not speak as if you’re representing every single person who’s planning on playing this, trust me, people will get by if they don’t end up joining Arukado’s “Wizards only guild”.
I like this. It will make Templars much more attractive.
@zordagoth You forgot the #sarcasm. People may have difficulty detecting the second degree, as well as differentiating a fact of a supposition.

IF the templar class really is limited to the swordsman tree, I think there are practical reasons for doing so. Limiting the skills that people will have access to when they play the class as a guild leader is probably a major one. It will prevent guild leaders from being centered around the cloak and hide mechanics like what happened in ragnarok with most guild leaders eventually being assassin/sinx/gx rogue/stalker/chaser and the occasional sura because of snap.
Besides, the leader of a guild strikes me as a lead-from-the-front role, rather than sit back and cast or hide-in-the-shadows, kind of thing anyway. An argument could possibly be made for Paladins and such, but IF it turns out to be swordsman only, then I am fully supportive of that decision because I know that the reasons are probably much more practical than simple lore or immersion.
