Templar for everybody[over]

I’m grateful for how this works now.

After following a stubborn High Wizard and a goofy Minstrel in RO, I just want a leader who can take more than one hit before dying. :expressionless:

TOS is not RO.

The fact that anybody could make a guild in RO sacrificing a bit of time is not the same as sacrificing a rank and maybe two for this purpose, meaning you have to know what are you doing and also your potential guild members.

Also, for most people it’s going to be a second char since they have to find their teammates first.

Does it bring relieve to you knowing that you can actually have any class as leader as long as you have a templar as alt? Your whole team will be counted as Guild leader. You cant use the templar’s skills then tho.

LOL! I never said ToS was RO.

1 Rank isn’t a big sacrifice when you have 6 more, and the money even less.

So I bet my pants that not all Templars know what they are doing.

For it to bring me relief at first I should be stressed about.

But I do thank you for information, though I have considered it would be the case.

But the whole deal to get Templar is not only to be a guild leader, but have skills to asist you in your “guild leading”. Why wear a crown if it doesn’t mean a thing.

I never said you did. Though, I completly understand your desire to decrese the amount of bad leaders and their guilds.

Money are not a problem even if you don’t have any - you can always grind more.

They can make it more ranks as well. There’ll always be an unexpirienced ones and I’m shure you understand that.

do you think it’ll be necessary to invest more circles into templar? if there are even more ranks left.

theres still 300 levels of content we dont know about, expecting at the very least Rank 10 classes, meaning 2 more circles of Templar, and +1 of god knows what.

i’ll commit to c3 templar for sure

and alot of them will be glass cannons cookie cutters.

Well, we have 5 skills and 3 of them are going to be able to be maxed out. This makes a c2. more desirable.

So, it’s possible for them to add like 3-4 more equally good/differently typed skills, so that the player didn’t have a linear skill choise.

But the hell do I know. I would like to know what is your position on the topic?

If you think about roles and having multiple roles you’re not limited to being a swordsman or so. Getting a C3 Guild-Leader role seems awesome.

Do you have any other objections is it a good idea to make Templar available to other classes, except that leader should be in the front lines?

It’s a bit late to ask it but what’s game breaking in allowing other classes to do so?

it only applies to something something field whatever pvp system for guild where leaders could just jump your guild by being a scout in stealth or cleric fade and then spawning an army on top of the enemy, fair fight. right? i think how it is is cool though, although we may end up with the only guilds being fairytale, some naruto thing and one pea’s

LOOK AT HER!

JUST LOOK AT HER!

#9/11 would die in battle at her command

on serious note, people already said them, it makes guild making a serious business that requires some planning. ToS isnt a game to make a casual guild, much to many people reactions.

Even more so for the guild master Templar that would have to commit 3 circles (at lvl 200~400) in order to make the guild, not himself, strong. This would mean only the selfless guildmaster that only thinks for the benefit of the guild would really dwell in the thought of making a Templar 3.

Though as of right now most pre-existing guilds from other games, veteran non-melee guild leaders must have already ordered their deputies to make a Templar instead of them. coz playing Templar 3 is going to be really boring for most DPS players. Tank/Support players though may have the patience and will to play Templar 3.

this would also mean a risk of those deputies betraying the non-Templar guildleader since they, the Templar, are the ones in actual control of the guild. Plus the prestige of being a identified a guildmaster ,as a templar guild deputy, by other players would make the non-templar guild leader jealous.

We don’t know what holds for templar at c2 and c3 yet. They might get a couple of skills and attributes that strengthen themselves based on the number of guild members around.

After all, “what is a kingdom without its king? Just dom…” - Wraith King (dota 2 xD)

Really, the best build is going to have to include Squire so you can set a feast for your guild whenever you want to.

I could see there being other guild classes though. Templar could be Swordman, Pope/avatar for Clerics. Perhaps some sort of grand vizier job for Wizards, since Wizards are evil apparently.

And then shaft archers, as is tradition.

I’m sorry dude, but I kinda do not fully understand what your point is. I’m sorry if you’re going to need to explain it one more time, I haven’t gotten enought sleep, so it might be me beign stupid or just slow due the lack of sleep.

Requires planning around one class?

Which means it’s not a very good idea to tie it to one class.
