Taunt / Provocation

Now I maybe I am wrong, but I believe that there is an agro system somewhere in this game. My only concern is how it works when other skills like Swash Buckling is used. Some problems I faced:

NOTE: I have maxed swash buckling for peltasta C1. (Level 5)

  1. I taunt the targets but the monsters immediately chase after my party member and not me (not so frequent)

  2. I taunt and I engage the target first but because my pt member has higher dmg they switch targets and pt dies on the spot (very frequent)

Just hoping if the devs want a tank role in game the agro bar should be tweaked a bit more so that skills that have taunt will give immensely more agro when compared to dmg from other pt members.

The aggro system runs on a number value.
Basically your taunt ability gives you an immediate number value of aggro on monsters around you, however if your party member does enough damage to where they exceed your aggro level, the mob will switch aggro.
To prevent this you need better attributes.

I am a level 70 2xPyromancer and I run with my friend all the time who is a 2xPeltasta. He taunts and I almost never get hit (with exception to archers who dont give any fucks).
Try looking around the attributes, because I know there are a couple that increase your provocation when attacking or when attacked.

just go to the 3rd circle with the peltasta then no one will take the monsters from you, also, don’t forget to max the sowrdsman pasive skill which increases their aggro towards you when they attack you.

This is the build I’m aiming : http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/7p9itiut5y/

well its no so much about the ppl taking monsters from me its more like for a skill thats considered a taunt, it should be more effective as and work as intended. I mean i can literally taunt a bunch of panto archers and none of them will shoot me but directly hit my pt member who has not even got one hit in

Well, basically all monsters have aoe attack, if they stand in front of you they will be hit. the best thing is attack from behind and let the monsters hit you on the front.
