New gem´s status are great (maybe the green ones not that great)… really its a really good way to improve dmg in swordies, even better than spending months in leveling a monster card.
Yet, Swordies are supposed to be the toughest classes, according to tradicional Role playing games, so please, please do something about the lame status of swordies.
1.- Health growth should be greater when investing in Con… I mean, GREATER…! To relay in some equipment and red gems in top/bottom equip it shouldn’t supposed to be a choice for a swordsman class, but for other classes, like wizards and clerics.
2.- Physical defense. I mean really? is this even a status? cuz even with plate equipment, the physical defense is not noticeable when a regular monster lvl+200 hits you 1.4k dmg in one hit… I can work that magic dmg cant be avoidable or that it has greater dmg in swordies (cuz that is how it traditionally works: swordsmans are weak against magic dmg) but physical defense should be something you can easily notice in swordies class.
3.- Debuff inmunity… This one its up to consideration, but i think that swrodies should have higher crit resistance and at least higher de-buff resistance, if not, inmunity. Specially for those who goes into tanking build (with swordies… even tho, at this point in game we know that the real tanker are the cryo… why? i dont know…), Swordies are supposed, and I wont be tired or repeating this, ARE SUPPOSED to be the toughest classes, I dont mean the more powerful but at least the hardcore sons of bitches hard to kill!!! yet swordies are weak against everything… EVERYTHING!!!
Please, IMC Devs, do something to make swordies great again (if they ever where)… the new status of gems are great, but not quite what we need in this class.
Also, i´ll finish this post with my typical request of creating a swordie-magical class… A samurai class focused on magic aoe dmg, like the samurai class from Final Fantasy Tactics… man that was an awesome class to play with. Think about it, ok, a 2h sword (katana) class that uses the spirits of the blade by awaking them.
Thanks and farewell.
