Yes…! I know there is hope for a Samurai class, even if its not magic dmg based.

A cryo doesn’t tank better than a swordie. A tanky cryo tanks better than a dps swordie.
What you’re saying basically translates to “I want to take DPS stats and DPS circles from the swordie tree, while still being a tank”. Now let me ask you something. If that was possible, why would tanking stats, equips and circles exist if you can still do it efficiently without them, while also doing nice dps?
Rock-papers-scissors has to exist. If a swordie can tank and also deal dps, what’s the point of archers whose only reason to exist is to dps?

When a dopple,Dragoon has more sustain DPS than a SR3/ WB pre7 King fletcher, best of all with new gear their tankability just rock sky high -_-… (2.5kdef + 3.3k mdef with eme , nuaelee stack) all mobs even in solmiki hits him 1 h4h4h4…

I don’t think that will happen, I guess it’s always a possibility but 2H Doppel builds going obsolete just doesn’t seem likely.

Now I don’t mind if you buff swordie sustainable more but isn’t that mean other class was getting buff too?

We’re already at rank8 and hp/str bonus swordies have does nearly jackshit against most r8 content/mobs, that’s why a good amount of PvE Sw players jumped to full/high Dex.

But swordsmen already get more HP than other classes from CON. They get twice as much.
And a Cryo in no way is a better tank than a tank swordsman. A Cryo might be a better tank than a DPS swordsman because the Cryo will have full CON, use shield, while the full DPS swordie won’t. And that’s normal.
If I want my swordsman to be able to tank a minimum, I’ll give him at least a shield.
I need a swordsman to tank. So the archers and wizards can’t get aggro and won’t run around (often panicking).
I’m a Healer, I love swordmen who can keep aggro, survive, and help me protect the party.
I only like R8 swordsmen if they’re not idiots. Sadly they’re not that common. (although it works with any classes: who love those stupid Cryos who spawn their ice walls as a straight line messing up the whole fight/map ?)
Why do you want to be able to tank if you don’t choose any stats or classes that is a minimum tanky ?
Swordsmen do have issues, but making it so all their defensive ranks, skills, and stats are basically useless as you can just go full DPS/STR:DEX and still be tanky as hell makes no sense.

A Cryo with a shield is also better tank against magic mobs due to their class attribute that adds shield def to mdef.
The last kToS also made their DPS better making IceWall and FrostPillar explode and deal aoe damage when using IceBlast.(not even counting IceNecklace that’s still in limbo, or a Mage counterpart of Murmillo)
