I don’t know. As much as I despise Gacha overall (Not only TOS’s) I suppose that it’d be better wait for the feature to come and then complain if necessary.
One of the most recent drama-induced features that caused an uproar in the forums (Seriously though, what doesn’t) was the instance reset vouchers, which turned out to be not half as bad as the players implied it would be before the release. Who knows.
They could just copy lol style revenue system. Keep the costumes and stuff at their usual prices. Also add the gacha to entice people with the chance to only spend 30tp to get a 200tp hair/costume. People that really want X item will buy it full price, or spend a lot on gatcha, don’t get what they want, then buy the item full price in the end, having spent twice as much. No one gets screwed over, you are not forced to play rng to get something.
But this couldn’t be further from that. Apparently you don’t even have a chance to get costumes on the gatcha. ONLY on the recycle trade. Want that new lolita costume? Well. Better spend 300tp+ on 10 gatcha just to recyle all the hats (assuming you don’t get apples or gem powder, which you surely will) so you can then buy the costume. Final cost = 300tp or (much) more = 24€+ Cost of buying in the normal shop = 129tp = 11€
Unless of course the price in recicle points is very cheap, which I’m assuming won’t as otherwise they wouldn’t introduce this system in the first place.
Better ways to do this, but they are worse at milking the players. And IMC is greedy, so your suggestions will go unanswered.
Apparently new costumes will be in the gacha and then moved to the shop. That’s one of the reasons I don’t like this. Yes they may be sellable on the market but I don’t think that will work well considering how bad pricing is right now. Idk about the other servers but tokens are just as much or more than costumes atm. Lol
I just don’t get why it wasn’t good enough to implement the boxes as they were on kToS, alongside costumes purchasable straight up instead of replacing them.
The costumes are not even going to the gacha, only to that stupid exchange shop which is more ridiculous
Well let’s assume the new lolita costume for female wizzard is what you want.
Let’s say I buy gatchas until I get it. I have a 50% chance of getting a premium cosmetic. By what we know so far 1% each (hats+lenses+dyes+hairs; since they said current costumes will be recycle only). So when they add the new batch of costumes I will have a 50%, then less than 1% to get it probably, but to keep things simple let’s say it’s still 1%. So on average I will need 200 pulls. (should be 100, but remember that only 50% of the times you get a cosmetic item).
Each pull is 30tp = 2,4€ (slightly less if you buy in bulk) —>2,4*200 = 480€ is what I might end up paying if I play and not stop until I get it (you can argue that I could stop sooner, and then recycle stuff to exchange for the dress, but remember that on release items will be ONLY gacha for a while, not on the recycle shop)
So what is the amount of silver I could ask for something that is worth up to 480€? Well, RMT bots spam ‘1M=2,4€’ on Fedimian. So I would need to charge you 200M+market tax = 220M for the costume just to break even, so you better start farming that silver.
oh i see, i think they change that phrase recently? and what does it mean? the costumes go to the gacha also?
That right there is exactly why I hate this kind of thing and why I made this thread.

A shop that requires you to trade in gacha items to have currency for. Basically people willing to buy items with no gambling involved will just stop buying things entirely. 
Which in turn will make those who do buy them have much more power in deciding the value of such items in silver. So I could charge you more than the estimated max value of 220M and get my 315 weapon to +15 with lvl 10 trascendence while the rest of the server doesnt have silver to raise atributes past 50 huehue

Browsing the kToS thread a couple days ago, I remember seeing something about Stat Reset Potions being available through Exchange Shop (if I’m not mistaken).
Is this the same Exchange Shop mentioned in the news? Are we going to be able to buy Stat Resets through exchange points after tomorrow?

I’m quite sure in a near future we’ll have instance clears through TP too

yep also the gender change mirror isn’t to bad of a pull either.
Because they only want to milk money from iToS players. We’re nothing to them but a bunch of cows with money, hence why kToS get hotfixes within an hour while we have to wait 2-4 weeks for a small fix of bug.
Thats not true when we had 5 dungeon runs they hot fixed that ■■■■ out real fast! LOL
I wonder if IMC realizes that ■■■■■■■ with the general playerbase with bad patches is one thing, but ■■■■■■■ with the whales supporting your game is a recipe for actual dead game.
