[Suggestion Void/Nulled] All-In-One Character - (think eden eternal) - Irrelevant & case closed

Here me out. The game just doesnt have that replay value imo. the reward of playing a new class for the grind is not worth it.

Considering this is a grinding heavy focus mmorpg.

I personally think 1 character should be enough to level for each major class type (warrior, mage, archer and priest). Having access to level all classes within that class type to max circle (so more than 6 Ranks) and being able to redistribute skill points and circle/rank orders etc (once it is maxed out to lv 15) so players have different playstyles and not have to go through the treacherous grind again for that specific major class.

Experimenting with builds etc.

What are your thoughts? Would that make things OP/Broken?

I just cant seem myself creating another character after making 1 character reach max level and only be limited to 6 different classes all at C1 at the most (by Rank 6).

prepare for the tryhard hardcore people bomb this thread to smithreens but yes I’d like that very much

So… basically I can go Swordsman > Swordsman > Swordsman Scout > Rogue > Rogue?
lol

Nah, i mean some games have pulled that off. However, then get more grindy then they need to be (FF14/Skyforge). And they’d need to rework the inter progression system. I feel we would need to see the other half. i herd that 600 was going to be the max level and more Archetypes. So, seems there’s a lot in the pipe line. Might just be grindy now cause they haven’t implemented stuff. Again, Alternative routs would ease the monotony but i feel giving every one that kinda system would brake things and reduce the depth of the class system.

Oh and it would reduce the investment in your “Main” character/class. The point is to get you to think long and hard about the class and tree you take. research it before hand. this adds weight to your dissensions. Or if you’re willing you can grind it all out.

Tryhard here, no thanks. I’m tired of dumbed down, no consequence class systems for babbies. Limitation creates choice, and permanence creates consequence.

Ragnarok Online was one of the few MMOs that ever had a class system that, when combined with unique and unpredictable itemization philosophy, yielded novelty builds that were consistently worthy of play. Tree of Savior is poised to recreate that success. Nothing would kill the uniqueness and experience of building something that is both unusual and functional than what you’re suggesting.

On that note, I sincerely hope there are never, ever any circle respec cash shop items. Stat and skill is fine.

I really like eden eternal’s sytem where you can have 1 character that can unlock all classes in teh game and level them individual. I dont see how that would hurt this game.

I liked Eden Eternal and FFXIV’s all class system but it won’t work well in this game. Why? Simple, it won’t make production classes like Alchemist, Squires, etc special anymore because everyone can simply be one. Some sacrificed 1 or 2 ranks just to grab these classes while they don’t get too much perks of using those classes on actual battles, it will help them in another way like profiting alot and be able to buy high rarity gears for themselves.

So in-short, no.
