i seen this in the Dragoman hunter beta a month ago, if you had been in combat for a while, you’ll get a captcha that requires to enter what you see in 10 minutes with 3 attempts. if you enter it right, get a 10% exp boost, if you dont, then force quit the game
Edit: by Captcha i mean a small window on the top left, not covering the entire middle of your screen
LOl that would be the most annoying thing ever… seriously, you are in the middle of fighting and you are bleeding running away then a captcha appears hahaha

Cabal had this for years. I think it was every 2 hrs. But guess what? Bots are still present., gold hacks and other exploits. RIP cabal
The anti-bot should be able to check if you are fighting while standing still or moving around in the same place for an amount of time. If you are fighting mobs that make you bleeding and have to run away then I’m sure you will pass the check, consider the maps are pretty small and the mobs could chase quite far if needed, it’s easily modified by the devs.

make the boss have invisibility in the area where they spawn…
kind of like mobs that are close to an npc…
one can also make the boss use teleport (not this game cheap version of it) once and have itself teleported to a random spot on map as soon as it spawn.
On a Technical basis if you look exactly what a BOT was and look at it on a very logical way… it was a tool to make your job done automatically.
it’s like, hey I have a business… she is selling cookies. after a few months she got enough money and invested on a machine that will make cookies … she now got a factory. she got rich… she then become a billionaire.
People then criticize her as greedy, the whole rich vs poor conspiracy was thrown and look at her as evil. why is that so? it all because of envy and the fact that they are doing a hard work yet their life is not getting any better.
These billionaire on real world actually contribute to the GDP, the inflation… the circulation of currency, exchange rates, the index etc … while the poor people who criticize her actually are useless to the economy and are worth nothing.
if the game Developer wanted to remove bots… they can do that I’m sure of that . but they won’t, they knew how important BOTs are to the game to keep the game going forward. what they are doing is the lessen the bots but not to completely remove them,. 
in this analogy the girl stole the cookies from other people and the machine is been worked by slaved puddles been whipped by monkeys that are been tortured by the girl

Just have a program that tracks key repetition versus time inbetween key presses. Any common pattern means it is a bot! Problem solved.
