so I tried to use the search for ‘Market’ related posts and the main things I found were ‘Market down yadayada’
I’ll admit that I may need to clarify some things as the words I may have chosen were poor.
So with that said here is my feedback and suggestion for the Market System
The Market System is pretty good although it does render NPC equipment as fairly useless and not to mention very much expensive. Recipes from NPC is better… although I haven’t done any recipe from a npc.
Anyways! I like how I can search for items by type and level. Helps me find new equipment to buy.
However one of things that does get annoying is that sometimes a certain category is very cluttered with ‘common junk’ … so much junk that I have to search through pages upon pages of junk just to find stuff I may want.
So one of the things I would like is either a option to remove certain items from a search result or maybe have each unique item be grouped together if they are the same item and with a button to expand and search for those specific items.
When it comes to selling things on the market I think it’s fairly good that you can drag and drop the item then set the price you would like to set it to.
Although having a typo in the price can be annoying and I think it wastes a potential for trading when you have to cancel out a item so you can fix a price. So maybe have a confirmation dialogue along with commas for the numbers? Maybe have like a 10 second grace period before the item gets posted on the market?
Another thing I would love to see is item comparison like… if you dropped an item into the box the market window will display ‘5 lowest prices’ So you won’t have to go back and forth between ‘Selling’ and ‘Buying’ to see how the price of the item is on the market.
