[suggestion] An attribute to turn off heal from heal tiles

I personally find it annoying when you are using your heal spell for damage/soloing mobs and some injury person just walk on to your heal tiles and it heals them, taking away some of your damage source. I can understand being in a party allow this but frustrating when soloing, as it wasn’t slow already.

Edit: there’s seem to be some confusion. I’m only suggesting it outside of party play, as in when you’re soloing.

What do you guys think? Feedback & comments.

1 - Heal is pretty bad for damage anyway (Cure is better, Blessing + Sacrament is better and zaibas is better)
2 - Don’t play a support class if you don’t want to support / only cares about yourself?

Forgot last suggestion:

3 - Send a party request to anyone who steps into your heals. Your lvling will be faster

I agree. It can also suck when you’re at a world boss and trying to compete but heal everyone you’re up against instead of just your party.

Sometimes you can’t always get a party so you have to go quest solo, so other people shouldn’t get the benefit of a cleric without being in a party with one so it will make people actually party with the cleric instead of hanging around them and leeching off them.

No thank you for this.

I don’t need clerics in my parties that’re like “huhu sry I dps cleric, no heal4u!” The ability is called “Heal” for a reason, which is located under a support class and there’s a lot more to the game than contending world bosses.

God forbid you… Heal those injured people! Geez.

No I think you misunderstood. It’s so it doesn’t heal people outside of the party. You should heal people in your party of course that’s your role.

Even if you have the heal only attribute on, anyone can use your heal tiles, but if that wasn’t the case then people might party with you more instead of sneaking a heal tile when you don’t need it.

I’m against it, I can’t see this ending well… so much potential for trolling

Ultimate trolling would be to have both attributes enabled: to remove damage AND suggested one to remove heal effect.

I understand you hate other players not in your party, cause you play tree of hatred.

But cleric is a support class, healing people outside your party is “ok”. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see heal damage get nerfed.

Hopefully IMC changes WB mechanics so people don’t have to hate each other anymore.

Change your wording from “An attribute to turn off heal from heal tiles” to “An Attribute to only affect party members” and suddenly your suggestion makes way more sense.

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH idk y but i loled at this for 5 minutes

This was what I meant. Something outside of party play.

This. I don’t understand why randoms should be able to walk all over a cleric’s heal tiles meant for themselves/their party members/damage. This makes absolutely no sense to me. If you’re not in their party, you should not be entitled to use the heals that are clearly not for you. To add insult to injury: With how prevalent KSing is, many clerics are essentially healing the people KSing them, and they can’t do anything about it. For world bosses, they’re similarly forced to heal the very people they’re competing with, when they’re only trying to heal their own party members (and no, finding a corner to lay down heals is not a solution; your DPS is forced to take the time away from dealing damage to walk to your heals).

+1 for this. Healers should be able to decide if they want to provide heals for everyone or just their party members.

Same thing with blessing

Our blessing should affect party members only

Yup there should be an attribute where buffs and heals only work on party members.

We play support to support people that will carry us… not randoms.

lol wut? I heal random people sitting by the fires or save dying random players all the time. I just want to be able to have the ability to control my skills to heal those that I want to. So in cases when I’m competing for world boss or whatever I can actually do just that or use my actual skills myself when I need them.

The problem here is more to do with their system how cubes are rewarded to begin with. Not your heal mechanic.

People will always find ways to be pricks.

Incase you missed the point.

+1 here
same goes to me because we need to compete against ksing archer or wizard
heal must be a privilege for party or ourself only

I need that attribute for my druid
