Stop saying ktos "balance" changes

Tired of reading these kids waiting for the ktos “balance” changes. The devs have no idea WHAT the word means at all.

Warlock: Hmm… pole of agony pretty strong eh… let’s nerf the damage by 50% AND cut the duration down to 5 secs. Not sure what we were thinkin before! huehue -eye twink-

Psychokino: Hm… gravity pole VERYYYY POWERRRFULLL… let’s nerf damage by 75% and get rid of its CC even though it’s not nearly as strong as the previous warlock skills mentioned AHAHHA (wait… ppl might b mad we completely burned this c3 skill to the ground, let’s buff the most useless skill in game: SWAP with a bind HEHEHEHEHEHE)…we swag

Meanwhile plague doctors still have 25s of immunity to all CC/ailments, rendering half the classes in the game useless for that duration and dievdirby have 18sec of complete invulnerability with owl being buffed to 15minute duration.

Archers poisons are incredibly strong, but can be negated with an antidote or cleric, rendering the bleeding trees entirely useless and unviable for pvp (wugushi)… Fletcher broadhead can 1 shot anyone with less than 30k hp

Swordsman don’t need to be talked about they are useless and always will be.

As you can see, these aren’t balance changes. More like kids nerfing entire trees to the ground and ruining classes with incredibly drastic changes that only make people want to quit the game entirely. The game is so unbalanced.

They need to completely revamp CC/Ailments in this game, and the stat/scaling system, as well as have testers help balance the game not play retard and just change things randomly

I wouldn’t be surprised if they continue with ridiculous nerfs i.e. nerfing wiz quick cast damage attribute to 25% or get rid of it completely. Then more people will quit, more rerolls, still no class reset, etc etc… its a slippery slope

**TL;DR:**Trash game is trash and will always be trash. Skills also need to list WAY more information such as (this skill can be cured by antidote OR… this skill doesn’t work in PvP… OR… Warning: this skill can change ENTIRELY in the near future.)

I’m doppel 2 and very disappointed about Redel from c7 that does sh-t damage compare to other c7 classes (snipe, cannon blast, magic arrow etc ). all of this class are cyclone and swash(pel)

Get wiz to be on the same level as swordsman and game will be balanced!

Been telling people that the kToS balance changes aren’t going to make this game good.

IMC’s idea of balance in short is this:

If it’s useful and actually does something, then we should make it not useful anymore. If something is already useless and people are complaining about how useless it is, clearly it is only useless because something else is better than it. That means that we need to nerf everything better until everything in the entire game collectively sucks.

You perfectly describe balancing, if everything sucks then everything is in Balance.

Point is either make a 1000 skills stronger so they compare or instead reduce the few which stand out atop.

Its like the Army: If it doesn’t make sense, lets do it.

Like said most of them are PvP nerf or PvP Change in any case, one spell someone that also a perma CC isn’t … Balanced.

And you thnk you calling them retards and calling it a trash game that will always be trash will make them listen to you?

You do realize that “warning, can be changed in the future” can be applied to every single skill, right? It’s not worth mentioning in the skills description.
What about a “usting this skill is only possible if you have learned this skill” description? Equally useless.

That being said : I wish there was more info in skill descriptions, but we need actually useful information, not your warning about possible changes.

If you already have that attitude, then why create this topic in the first place other than seemingly being needy for attention?

and it makes sense.
Many games have different values for PvP versus PvE seeing as how PvE is designed to fight things with 400k swarms of mobs or bosses in 10mil+hp

And who cares about PvP lol.

OP either didn’t realize those were PVP only changes or is a total dipshit who thinks those skills didn’t need nerfs in PVP for some reason, probably because he’s a baddie. The classes he’s bitching about being nerfed are still among the top PvP classes.

Most people don’t give a ■■■■ about the PVP anyway, I can’t believe how many people are still in denial about this after neutrality was implemented and - surprise - almost nobody wants to participate in PVP.

We all want the PvE balance changes so we can play a wider variety of characters. The PvP in this game will pretty much never be “balanced”, I don’t see a way they could possibly make it fair for everyone with so many classes. If you want to PvP you’ll always need to have a dedicated PvP character.

Overnerfing the top build and leaving the second top build almost untouched doesn’t really make PvP more balanced, it just pisses a bunch of people off while appealing to whiners. This is a game where many people would rather quit and play something else than have to remake a character every time something gets hard nerfed due to how repetitive and long the process is to make a new character. For a niche game like this, that isn’t good whether you care or not about the person quitting because literally every person putting money into the game is important because it’s barely making it as is. No matter how passionate about the game the dev is, you can only be in the red so long before you have to take drastic measures.

Thus, why nerfs need to be wide spread and sensible and accompanied by buffs to things lagging behind. While CC is powerful, many classes are designed to depend on it completely which makes it just as bad to make CC useless for such builds. This is why when CC gets hit, damage should be buffed for those same classes or else the class no long has a place at all, thus why the Gravity Pole nerf is in-fact an overnerff since Gravity Pole was only strong for its CC in the first place which was hit hard, making the damage nerf pointless and overbearing.

What’s just about as powerful in PvP is invulnerability which has been completely untouched in the Cleric Tree. The only real counter to invulnerability is CCing til it’s over which isn’t an option since Clerics are immune to all CC (the only exception was Gravity Pole which no longer has CC). So, the hate and nerf to CC today only is setting up invulnerability Clerics tomorrow. The point is, unless you want PvP to just be about who does the most DPS, you have to keep each of these mechanics in check to one another. Regardless, this is a very difficult game to balance in concordance to PvP if the goal is to give every type of build a place in it due to how things counter one another vs. keeping all varying mechanics relevant and practical.
