Stop saying ktos "balance" changes

I totally agree about nerfs aka balance changes being too drastic. A competent developer buffs/nerfs skills little by little and tests it before it goes live. Here just…look at the Stone Skin nerf for PVP. down from 4xSPR to utterly useless 0.5. Yes it was OP before, but they destroyed it. That’s not balancing, it’s brainless, not thinking about consequences.

Also what’s with monsters resisting skills like several ticks of Cure? That one doesn’t even affect the monster in any way besides doing dmg. Or take Divine Stigma, where does that debuff the monster? It even gets resisted by Stamina Crystals LOL!

i pvp alot in kr before as an canoneer
every time other team got stone skin from priest it’s 80% your hit will be block and it’s the worse when it comes to full CON build + aias and stone skin it will always around 90% block
so TREE OF MAGIC ?
even with that nerf stone skin is still strong because the flat block from it is already 400 and it’s hard to surpass that huge amount

but at some previous patch they buff STR that increased block pen
we still need to wait for more result about this if it’s enough against stone skin or not

Learn to read the entirity of the sentence please. I said it was OP but they overdid it with the nerf. Nerfing is fine, just not to these extends.

It’s hard to pass 400 Block? My calculator says that when you hit 80% of the time with 4x spirit block and they nerf it down to 0.5x spirit then you are left with a 10% block chance.

The 80% came from your statement. I’m not watching PVP statistics btw. And I’m done with this conversation. I’ve stated my impression on the whole topic with a few examples and that’s it. No use in arguing with you.

even with full equipment which provide highest block pen that you can find you will never surpass 400 block and with aias it’s 800 block because it have x2 block rate and it’s just from the stone skin it self, you forgot the full CON build have much block from stat also

why those people who’s only play in inter ToS which not even have a properly Battle league and GvG ranking are so stuborn

wait for next months and see how’s magic classes fk physical class damn hard, then you will know those nerf is not even overnerf

The SPR nerf did almost nothing in PVP. PVP Clerics would be mostly CON anyway. It still maintains its enormous 400 base block chance - but more importantly, it allows you to block without a shield, meaning suddenly everyone in your party can block even if they’re using a 2h weapon or an offhand weapon, and since they’ll likely be heavy CON builds, their block chance is very, very high - impossible to penetrate considering you only get block pen from SPR. Even with block pen from STR it’ll be hard to get past 400 block from stone skin.

When you block 80% of the time with 400 + CON + 4x SPR block against priests who have maybe 20 SPR and 200 CON then yes, dropping that 80 to 10 barely makes a difference. 680 block vs. 620, it’s minuscule.

There is no 2x modifier. The equation was found, you can most likely google it. To my knowledge it was broken when i checked on my plague dr. It was going no additional block other than the 84 block.

They only nerfed it in PvP, and it’s warranted.

Right now these skills are too strong (50k instant burst), and even with 50% nerf, they are still strong in PvP.

If you can’t make use of them as a wiz 3 warlock, you probably need to git gud.

Also, from your post, it seems that you don’t can’t read or write. You should brush up your language before you even post.

I dont have an Aias to test, but Block Rate x2 must have some meaning, else there is no point in adding it to equipment. (ok, there doesnt need to be reason for everything done, but every other shield currently ingame has Block Rate x1)

Currently block rate does not work, as the formula ingame sets all shields block rate to 1, even if it has more than 1 block rate. Either way, 1-3 block rate is really not much even if it did work.

As for the OP, most of the changes were PvP specific, and more balancing does need to be done, but they are indeed balances. Swordsman on kToS can do nearly 100k on their skyliners which is rather ridiculous imo.

There are some heavy nerfs but I think with time there will be more balancing.

Not getting any balances at all is hurting our version much much more than getting them ever will.
