Stop blaming the devs

I can’t believe you’re serious.

Guess what ? Coding isn’t a sure thing. Coding leads to all kinds of errors, sometimes errors you don’t even know how they appeared. Games get bugs constantly, all the time. Some minors, some majors.
Stop pretending coding is totally easy and mistakes can’t be made…

What “alternative options” ? Rollback ? Making everybody loses a day of game, and creating other issues because of people whining it’s unfair because they didn’t abuse it and the rollback made them lose their rewards, lucky enhancements, etc. ?
Just fix the bug and let everybody keep all the drops spreading the message “It’s okay to exploit” ?
There was NO perfect, easy, fast solution.

I’m curious to know how often you work over the week-ends. They actually worked the week-end as it was Saturday for them when this happened. They took their Sunday off… Big deal.
The game is currently working for a lot of players. Some who were involved in the DPK bug can’t enter. They decided to make it available for most of their players, which is a right decision.
Issues of this degree can’t be fixed in 24h or even 48h, whether you like it or not.
You’d rather they let everybody back in and then block them starting Monday ? What would it change ? Except making it much more difficult for them to track back all the items because people would try to get rid of the “evidences” ?

You’re blaming them for things they didn’t even have power over or things that had no perfect solution.

And this is not directed at you, but gotta love all the exploiters saying “Hey, it’s not my fault there was this bug ! I was grinding, there was an obvious issue since I dropped 50 cubes in 1h, but that’s not my fault !”.
It’s like taking someone’s cellhpone because they were looking away and left it on the table next to them, and then claiming you’re innocent.

Good luck, we have different experiences.

Most shallow posters in the world.
All they think about are Cubes and battle fuking bracelet.

Drops from monsters at all level ranges
1-330 were going down and your only narrow thought processes are “it’s a problem because some people got HG cubes and BB’s” like other people weren’t getting other items intentional or not because the drops were screwed up all over the game.

Of course this is IMC’s fault.
It wasn’t even an isolated affair like weeds or people busting down channels.
Mobs all over the flipping game became loot pinata’s.

Let me tell you a little story. Little Timmy Savior starts playing one monday ago. He is a Ro fan, and hear some rumors about this cool ro-like game. He starts and liked the game a lot, level super fast with the events and gets around 140 by the thursday. He has no idea about what items are rare or expensive. Friday morning he woke up excited for playing. He was super happy questing and ended in demon prison 2. Suddenly monsters starts to drop monsers gems, Timmy has no idea what they are, but considering it drops a lot, he think doesn’t worth it. Then he read in the shout “party hg lvl x” and says “cool, let’s party”. Doesn’t even know what a hg is, but a party mate told him go to this place. He stick around one hour with his party, happy for getting level and this cubes that contains gear, but again he thinks “men this gear is super common probably are nothing”. Then his mommy call him and tell they have to go to shop. They came back late, so doesn’t log in anymore. Saturday morning, and Timmy ran to the computer, try log in but he keeps getting a rare message. After half hour he come to the forums, and realize that is banned four to seven days because he was exploiting a bug. He’s very sad and uninstall the game.

Then good for you, btw, DO NOT exploit it if you are players.
Also, are you the TOS’s dev? If not, let them do their job and just report. If you did programming games, you should know how stressful it is.

we bot experience this bug but i know how to make a constructive opinion and not only a review based on “HOW MUCH FUN I GET” . i care by the comunity and the entire game

Even if no one is perfect, even if the developers thus logically can’t be perfect, and even if mistakes do unavoidably happen from time to time, the person who made that mistake is still at fault. That’s what fault IS.

But I notice your entire post is about trying to deflect responsibility from the developers for their failure and for not being willing to go the extra mile to fix it. Sorry, maybe you’re willing to let that slide, but I (as a professional, myself) and many others hold up professionals to a higher standard than that.

Wow, he knows how to get on forum for info but he cannot read and understand. Still a kid, I guess? Also, who would let him freely uninstall a program on house computer? His parents? wow.

You guys had time and chance to close the server before it was too late. Now, because of the bad coding and the wait to close the server, everyone is paying for it. Even lots of Innocents.

Devs are to blame for producing a a bug, players are to blame for exploiting it.

If there’s an exploitable bug it will be exploited, end of discussion.
No moral preaching will stop this, if a player can do it they will if they want to.

Code isnt a sure thing. Thats why professionals make tests.
I already work as a programmer in the security of HSBC bank.
You know when the client see bugs and errors? Almost NEVER. Cause you can implement a patch in the server all ■■■■■■ up.
You just CANT, you know.
But thats not a bank its a game, so the developers and the players take it less serious but dont change the fact that bad coding is bad coding.

The community will thank you, the devs will thank you. Now, good luck with playing the game. Also, I didn’t pull any sarcasm. I mean it.

You know whats the MAIN problem? The lack of a 24hr GM/Suport like other better mmo’s.

And are you the best coder in the world?

I came here to say this but you were first.

Hahaha yeah man.

Low life.
And,
this
is
not
sarcasm.

like they say on the ban wave of the hook64 exploiers. they ban to punishment “randoms players” and make it and example to prevent to anyother to exploit like that again. but when they do a mistake and every players exploit it they never do something like that. (like the hardvest event or uphill between others)

if they ban players before that no one will think to exploit “bugs” like this again

Meanwhile we could have just had a roll back with what? with 1-2 hours maintenance? And live happy atterwards, instead we got this, would love to say im shocked and suprised, but im not

gg estiamtion for this to be done in 4-7 days, yeah thats a much better, this is what id call investing time and money in the wrong place.
