First, nobody looks at the good side, they brought so many events to us and they were awesome, they even gave us free reset rank as our wish.
Then something bad happens, and here we are, blame them while players are the one who abused the rules. I am the one who didn’t get banned because when that DPK crap happened, I knew something wrong so I didn’t touch it. Why are you so greedy, people?
And stop making lame and not truth excuses like the devs did it for their profit or they didn’t care and solve it to the next day. When you said that, you are so irresponsible and disrespectful for the devs and also all the players.
Now, if you have nothing related to that event, then just let it go because everything is solved now, who abused get punished, and nothing happened to who didn’t greedy. If you keep ranting about it, well, LOL.
Stop blaming people for the mistakes they made!
Just the sort of brilliance I would expect on the forums.
The fact that the bug existed in the first place is the dev’s fault. They were the ones that failed to program the game correctly.
The fact that the bug wasn’t fixed despite their attempt to fix it with the maintenance was their fault. It was their job to fix it and they failed.
The fact that they left the bugged servers up for 12 hours is their fault. They were the ones in position to take the servers down instead of leave it up for 12 hours.
The fact that they suspended everyone who happened to pick up some of the bugged DPK items, even those who didn’t abuse the bug on purpose (easy to happen considering it was on EVERY MAP IN THE GAME and the only way to avoid it was to pretty much NOT PLAY THE GAME), pending investigation at which point they will reinstate those they found to not have harmed the servers, is their fault. They were the ones that made the decision to do this instead of alternative options.
The fact that they decided to suspend people during the weekend but not do the investigation until AFTER the weekend, leaving people unable to play Tree of Savior for four days, is their fault. They were the ones with the option to work overtime on weekends.
People have the right to blame the developers when it’s the developer’s fault, especially when those faults have caused an impact to those people. That’s what blaming is for!
Game bugged doesn’t mean players can abuse. All your points are invalid, and you didn’t see them sit by the computers, try to fix it then shut up. And blaming others for what YOU did wrong or simply “unexpected bugs”? Are you code god?
The only way to not drop any DPK item was to stop playing the game.
Apparently i dropped a few copies (six) of an item i didnt know it was a DPK item, while farming mats on a 120 level map (thought it would be safer, exploit-free)
So, stop whiteknighting and face that their action was flawed.
Hello, this reply is to inform you that you have replied to the wrong post. My post never mentioned anything about abuse. In the future, please more careful with which post you click the “Reply” button to before typing up a reply.
i put my money on this game to support the development and improve of it since the EA. and for now:
the banance its a crap. i lost 70% of the silver invest on gear/attributes, a loot of friends lose they main characters becaus imc decide punish everyone who make a OP class and even they make only one wizz/dps viable class at meta.
they let pass a loot of bugs/exploits from a bunch of players who make them the more OP players on the server untill now. (like bugarium on SA)
and now this problem was made by some one of the dev. team who dont do their job. reading and traslating a simple change on the DPK mechanic. i dont win the rigth to blame it i bought it. if im paying for some service, I demand it to be good
People have a responsibility not to exploit bugs that they find or hear about, especially when those bugs can have a catastrophic impact on the health of the community and economy.
It’s the exploiters’ fault they exploited. IMC’s handling of the situation is perfectly reasonable, assuming they manage to get the items off of people’s accounts (I’ve had problems like this in other games, and manually pulling items out of a huge amounts of inventories is a difficult thing to do perfectly). In fact I’d say they are being way too generous, by letting everyone keep a single copy of the items.
Accept your slap on the wrist and enjoy the free stuff they’ll give you as compensation - its a lot more than anyone deserves, including those of us who didn’t exploit the bug.
Did I write your name when I said someone abuse?
Did you ever stop to think what the alternative situation would have been if no one exploited it? Let’s say that everyone played the game normally without exploiting this on purpose.
Guess what? A BAJILLION CUBES AND BATTLE BRACELETS STILL WOULD HAVE DROPPED ALL OVER THE PLACE BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT HAPPENS JUST FOR PLAYING THE GAME.
Even if you stopped playing after your 2nd cube dropped because you realized “Er, something’s wrong here” while you were farming the hunting grounds in the course of NORMAL GAMEPLAY, THAT’S STILL TWO BUGGED CUBES IN THE GAME PER PLAYER.
No, this is not the exploiters’ fault. This would have happened regardless of whether the exploiters did this on purpose or not. The servers would have still been filled with cubes, they still would have been filled with gems, and they still would have been filled with battle bracelets even if everyone was a friggin’ angel because it takes at least two drops per player before you could even possibly realize something is wrong and stop playing the game.
The fault is because my grandmother.
The point is: No one care about mistakes. If you are just trying to defend my grandmother saying she can commit mistakes, that mistakes happens and people should not scream so much about an human error, you are completely right. No one is perfect, I dont believe the Dev or IMC, sorry, I mean, My grandmother, should be punished, I think the contrary:
if they act correct on this one, we should support them, I mean, My grandmother, because who never make a big crap that affected someone in real life? Unluck things happens, is how we move after that that defines our quality.
The problem is not who or why it was caused, but what is being done after the milk on the flor.
But thank you, I apreciate the support you give to my grandmother, she is fine.
How is that relevant to anything? Well, I suppose even your OP is pretty irrelevant because whether or not people blame the devs isn’t going to change the consequences of this fiasco (tons of cubes and battle bracelets flooding the servers anyways, tons of players who had just come back or started the game leaving because they were suspended for an entire weekend as a first impression, etc)
You got what you paid for like I did.
I found fun, did you? If not, try again or stop bother with it. Also, LOL.
Funny how its my fault for grinding (not selling, not trading, not making millions) and not IMC for not doing their job right.
Let us stop playing this game so the mistake will not befall to all of us.

Are you leaving? Then why you bother with it?
Do you have cubes? If not, then why bother with it? If yes, WHY bother with it since you got one. And kids play games for fun, right? And I expect adults to be mature and have read-able abilities.
Yes, if people hadn’t intentionally exploited, there would still be some illegitimate items in people’s inventories. Their accounts would be frozen, the items would be removed relatively quickly, and then everything would go back to normal.
That’s pretty soft damage for a literally game destroying bug. No one is being hurt except for a little lost time, which they are being recompensed for. If all this complaining is about people not being able to play for a week, then I feel like some people really need to evaluate their priorities.
Would you rather not play for a week, or not play forever because IMC let game-breaking bugs go unaddressed?
Why do people always blame the victims?
Sorry if I was there dropping rare items and you wasn’t. At least I was playing the game how I like to play.
When I heard about the bug and thought about previous bug problems and IMC handling I said to myself: go exploit this sh*t, AND LOOK guess I received compensations for that matter.
