Or you can learn to play video games. You will find nothing but scorn and hatred for cheaters here on this forum because cheaters are destroying a game that people here love. Even if your cheating methods were primitive and lame, cheater is still a cheater.

Have you not seen the frustration and anger expressed by this community over cheaters here? And you would dare make a post declaring that you were macroing to automate your character and claim you were unfairly banned by simply comparing yourself to a known botter?

You need a reeducation camp to fix your broken logic.

Tbh idk how gms handle bot cases they seem to be really picky I guessā€¦ there are many bots out there , some are so obvious that just by checking their achievments would be enough to tell that certain guy is a bot heck, 150++ and he only got hunter as an achievement? Thats pretty obvious isnā€™t it?

So a) you could only put together a really basic, relatively poor botting program, and b) you got caught and banned for it.

Iā€™m pretty sure everyone here would be happy if your comrade Mimohime were to get banned as well. In fact, maybe he has. Seems like youā€™d have trouble knowing that since you are no longer welcome in the game.

Thatā€™s a well-deserved botting ban. I hope the other bot mentioned gets dealt with soon, as well.

I donā€™t use any addons and the only good feature Iā€™m missing out on is the up close zoom for screenshots.

Thatā€™s fortunate. No reason to worry about unbanning then, so IMC should focus on getting rid of the rest of the bots, too.

Yep

IMC needs to git gud and stop neglecting banning known botters.

Let me summarize it for you:

You cheated and got banned.
They are cheating too and will get their ban eventually as the community keeps fighting for their ban and IMC learns to git gud at banning botters.

You, frankly, suck at cheating and got caught much faster than they did lol.

Just because other people are botting does not mean it is okay for you to cheat too. I am not sure what is so difficult to understand?

Uhh I donā€™t know if you know this, but Momohime has been botting since the start.

87MM in silver and counting. Never been banned. Bots in front of GMs.

Care to explain?

Well, for one, you do have my sympathy @daays Sorry this has happened to you. However, I feel that requesting your account to be released on the forum is simply futile. I donā€™t believe any company would conduct their business over a public forum but I could be wrong. So I feel like you have three choices:

  1. Submit a ticket for an appeal. By the effort you have put into making this thread, I feel like that you honestly want to continue to play TOS, thus this might be a solution to your problem.

  2. Create a new character from scratch. This is probably the option I will pick. Since I work full time and the money I spent on ToS is kind of like pocket change, I would just start over if I am still having fun with the game. (Of course be more cautious this time around.)

  3. Quit the game all together. Can go play something else that peeks your interests. Maybe Herowarz? That game just went into Beta. I am personally waiting for Closers Online and Soulworker myself.

I hope these advice helps. Nevertheless, I do want to mention this: even though you feel like you have been unjustly banned, the final say is still left with IMC and their employees. This is because IMC can ban anyone no matter if it is just or not. After all, this game belongs to them. Like any MMO, in TOSā€™ Term of Service and EULA, there is a clause that states that IMC has the right to terminate the game for their consumer at any given moment without reasoning. And by downloading and playing TOS, you agreed to this clause.

What I said made plenty of sense to everybody except you. It probably makes sense to you as well but youā€™re too focused on defending your actions to admit it. Your topic title is you demanding that you get unbanned. Whether or not another botter has YET to be banned has no relevance to YOUR ban.

If you want to ask the staff the question you just asked me, perhaps put that in the title instead? Donā€™t swap subjects after making a topic about your ā€˜unjustā€™ ban. You were banned for a specific reason. Youā€™re remind me of those drivers who complain when the cops pull them over ā€œI was only going 95 mph in a 70mph zone because the guy in front of me was speeding. Why donā€™t you catch him too?!ā€. Ideally, the person you mentioned will be banned as well (if they are botting).

You think banning someone for macroing while not banning another person botting directly in front of the GM is just?

Sounds like the GM missed banning 1 of the 2 bots discussed in this thread. But Iā€™m glad the GM at least banned 1 of them.

Even if that were fine (which it isnā€™t) how do you expect imc to know whether you planned to use the silver for rmt or not?

You automated your gameplay in some way shape or form and got banned for it no matter how ā€œunsophisticatedā€ the method you used was, people have been banned for less like automating mana pot usage.

But the best part is where you complain that the other people botting nearby didnā€™t get banned as if that somehow makes your ban unjustified, they will get banned in time but for now this was about you, macroing to automate your silver farming.

Just because IMC is lazy/incompetent at banning long-term cheaters, doesnā€™t mean your ban is any less justified lol. IMC only likes to ban the most obvious cheaters or people who have been reported that have names like ā€œjfewmoifjā€ or whatever.

Think the whole community knows this by now. How about instead of trying to argue how ā€œunfairā€ it is that you got banned for being an ā€˜obviousā€™ cheater, you join the growing number of players who are trying to get IMC to stop being so inefficient at banning cheaters. (Like that exploiter with 300k hp seriously IMC? Lol)

Yes, but it is not up to you or any other players to make that decision. Banning a player from TOS is solely up to IMC and its employee. They have all discretion no matter if it is just or not.

I really think this thread has gone in a circle long enough. If there is a moderator, they should really close this topic.
