SR build options?

Also caltrops are greats provoking the mob, it can compite with pelt in that aspect. I can provoke a whole room of demon prison, and then blow up with retreat

Is QS good at late game too?

Despite people say its not, i dont have any problems on populars end fields like evac or storage. I have never try et if that was the focus.

Neither QS3 nor Ranger will blow your mind at late game owing to the fact that these are rank 2 jobs. Ranger however, has the advantage of having Steady Aim 15, buffing all your skills across all ranks, which remains relevant even in late game even when all others fall off. QS3 on the other hand makes you a true mobile machine gunner, in that you in a sense, trade the 20% raw damage buff for more mobility and single target burst down with everything else as a side dish. Even though like above poster, I have no problems on popular end fields as well as QS3, the meta SR2 that cleared ET in Korea was a R3 Reiter (IIRC), granted they have 45% Steady Aim but just a pointer if you really can’t make a decision.

Hi, I am interested in SR too. What if Archer 3 - Wugu 2 - SR 2?

so for maximum useful in late game, ranger is considered good cause of Steady aim?

Looks functional at least, I don’t know if it will outperform the standard QS3/R3 SR2 though. That being said, I personally am not a huge fan of Archer 3, it doesn’t being anything to the table aside from Swift Step 15 and Multishot 15 which IMHO, are not good enough reasons to go C3. You could make a case for Kneel Shot 10 (which scales off Dex and I believe Wugushi should be heavy STR at the very least) but as an SR, you are almost never using that skill anyways. Wugu2 is fine as the only skill which dismounts you is Throw Gu Pot, an Wugu3 or a fellow Wugu2 will override your poison though

If you want to put it that way, yes but just be aware of what you’re trading off compared to the QS3 counterpart.

For a dedicated Earth Tower team, Arch1Rang3Arch2SR3 will have the highest AoE damage. You need a krivis3 Melstis to extend your Retreat shot, forward shot, and Steady Aim. This path doesn’t lock you into equips.

The QS3 counterpart is easier to solo due to Running Shot, and is stronger vs bosses and object hit-count destruction (siaulai mission, etc). QS3 locks you into Cafrisun set, and Grand cross -> Didel grand cross. QS3 is strong on ET ’ destroy this object by hitting it 500 times’ floors. This build benefits from Linker and Krivis3, since Running shot spreads through Joint Penalty Link, and Melstis extends retreat shot. The disadvantage is you cannot use Running shot + retreat shot together.

A3Wugu2SR was a popular build back during testing period. The problem of wugu2 is its bad scaling. Poison attribute damage upgrade is a special case, since it does not use your physical attack + weapon attack, only the skill damage. The attribute increases poison DoT damage by 1% of your poison skill damage. If you upgrade a level 10 needle blow it will never be upgraded as strongly as a lvl 15 needle blow. The advantage of poison DoT is it will only be affected by elemental defences, not physical defence or magical defence. The disadvantage is your weapon damage won’t affect the attribute % enhance at all.

Quote:

tl;dr Wugushi skills scales based on physical attack to poison damage
per tick at a 1:1 ratio and attributes scales at 1% of the base skill
damage. This means that if you don’t go Wugushi3 your poison damage
aren’t going to scale as well. While you are a Wugushi2 you’ll only gain
7.76 per Needle Blow and 11.02 per WugongGu while a Wugushi3 will gain
10.5 per Needle Blow and 15.47 per WugongGu on top of having a longer
duration for more uptime.

Edit2: A3Wugu2 will benefit the most from Linker teams, since linkers have an attribute to increase poison damage. Linkers reduce AoE defence ratio too, so your multishot 15 will damage enemies greatly in an AoE. You are able to spam Twin arrows, and oblique shot during retreat shot. Another disadvantage is Poison scaling. Poison DoT cannot crit, so you are restricted into going high STR, low dex.
