Might be a stupid/crazy idea, but that’s what suggestions are for
Right now. Grinding is dead simple. You kill x monster, get y exp. Nothing else matters.
But that makes for a rather dull experience. Despite all those cool combos you do to monsters or those close-calls with death you make when a tad-too-many monsters gang up on you, you gain the same amount of xp.
Personally, I think grinding can be a lot more fun. What if the game actually rewarded you for doing a high damage combo, or a high mob-count kill-streak, or doing well and cheating death? It can be through anything, giving you bonus XP, a free buff, maybe higher loot rate.
This way grinding can have it’s moments where you do really well and get rewarded for it, not just a kill x number of monsters, get y * x number of xp.
Any thoughts? Obviously this idea would need more refinement to avoid ppl abusing it.
