How is that a proof?

Fort he next time please record and upload a video, that just looks like a dude hiting a monster, it’s as simple as clicking F12 and leaving it run for a little.
Tos should be able to look into it solely based on info. It’s not your responsibility to PROVE it. You’re just informing them , they should have means to check their(hackers) behavior easily , via logs .
They haven’t noticed there’s a bug that lets you create a character on an advanced class when looking at someone else’s log, I’m pretty sure they need as much help as they could with these things.
Then their system is faulty by design.
Well, yeah that’s why they have a beta so people catch on those issuess so they can fix it.
If you’re having design issues then it isn’t really beta, you’re in alpha at best.
That’s a way to look at things, but hey watcha gonna do, it’s how it is right now so we may as well help them fix it, after all that’s a bit fo what we signed up for when joining this thing right now.
Actually, it is. If you’re accusing someone of something, you have to provide sufficient proof of the accusation so you’re not just wasting peoples time-- this applies to practically every MMO game with a ticket system (They’ll ask for proof of your claim).
Imagine if you’re in a party of 5 and I’m in a party of 5 in the same area, and for whatever reason, we want you guys to get banned. So we report all 5 of you saying we think you’re speed-hacking with only a screenshot of you guys just standing there. Then we tell you guys that we reported you, and 3 of your party members report us later on for Monster Vac hacking on you guys. IMC nor any other company with a popular game has the time nor patience to look into every single claim that people report to them when there’s no proof of it even happening, despite the game having a built-in recorder.
well, for everyone, I know I should have a video. Too bad I cant record in a good FPS rate.
I tried to take some screenshots, but its really hard do catch a speed hacker when he uses it fully.
Just wanted to give it a try though. Maybe IMC would make some justice.
this theory about the party report is pretty messed up…
Tons of kids do it in games all the time. It got so bad in FPS games that they had to use a counter flag system, where they wouldn’t even check the person out until they were flagged/reported a certain number of times, despite FPS games being more prone to mods/hacking.
i find it amusing how you cant even read character’s name properly from your own screenshot that can potentially lead to a ban of innocent player.
If a client of mine at work says that he doesn’t like a function in my program then I check it, I don’t double question my clients , unless I want to loose your work.
If one of my clients feels that he might be getting scammed or unfairly treated, I don’t wait for them to get pissed of to the point they don’t want to do business with me.
If GM’s aren’t hunting cheaters and solving ppls problems… what are they doing.
This thread is pointless without actual video footage, screenshots for this particular situation has no value. Nonetheless, I don’t think any player has been banned during this iCBT2 so don’t be expecting any actions to be taken even if he was really hacking.
That example is a lot different than this current situation, since dealing with customer dissatisfaction and false-flag reporting are two different things. But I’d assume that you:
-
Don’t have to deal with many instances where a client of yours says that a function in your program works differently than intended, but then doesn’t give details on what it is; just “It’s not working, look into it”.
-
Don’t have to deal with tens of thousands of clients.
I’m not saying they shouldn’t be hunting cheaters, but they shouldn’t be expected to constantly look into cases like these when there’s no proof provided.
even if they dont take any action, I wanna show how big and how easy the use of speed hack is right now
