Spear Atk Range When Using Skills

2H Spear atk range is 10, 1H Spear is 5;
When im using skill such as earthwave, stabbing, and all other skill that can be used when using Spears that range is useless;
Whats the point when im using 2H spear when i can use Spear+Shield?
The atk range, IMO should affect the skill range too.

Yeah sadly spear range both 1hand and 2hand’s range only applies to normal auto attacks, most SW tree skills fixed range per skill.
Only AOE ratio, elements and other certain attack bonuses apply to skills.
