And about IP Block:
They do not will block the IP to steam, they dont need it, because any one with problems with ping (almost everybody) will move to LevelUp (yes with angry in the heart).
That is a closed rule already.
Usually when another version is presented in an area the other games IP block to encourage the people to play on their own servers. It could very well happen as it did with TERA Online for Steam
imc isnât even going to answear us, i hate that they made a deal with level up when we could get a steam server and transfer -_-
imc please at least give us a transfer if a Latin server isnt viable.

Is because when the server in Brazil became online, thousands of players who dont knew about the game will bacame mad and feel injusticed if lots of players start already tooo strong, because they dind knew the game was online on steam.
So to prevent this type of argue, there will be no transfer between STEAM and LUG Server.
A possible solution is announce two types of server in Brazil.
1 - Only to new players.
2 - To players who already started on steam wanted to move from steam because the ping.
Maybe will be needed more than one server, but the focus here is the idea.

I prefer to bear the lag than move to LevelUp and have to start all over again. or even quit and move on to another game if the lag is too much⊠and im sure many ppl will prefer this if they donât give at least a team transfer when the server come out

First, thanks for being kind of our side and being against ip block. Its a shame see how our players (kids?) are rude on the internet. About Level up i really dont know why so much hate on the company, for sure they did some mistakes on the past, im a old Grand Chase player even got some high ranking on brazzilian server aka the biggest one, for sure ive have an average relation with level up mostly about tickets and bugs but this is from any company even the those multimilionare like blizzard or idk they are many always they will have some bad side, the most complaining of the brazillian comunity is about Level up turning games into pay to win? Srsly i dont understand how anyone can think a publisher is the responsable for that, even in Grand Chase where a lot of players said that until the very end the who did the system pay to win was the creator of the game, level up is just a publisher the only complain anyone can have is about the server/hack-bot/or the translation in the ToS case not even the Hack/bot is problem of Level up since imc that will manage the game. I will not play on level up server, mostly because i enjoy learn multi culture so i love playing with ppl around the world making friends is fun when you have more to learn from them, but i have no problem if my friends want to play on level up server i will move with they since the server is made for better support us anyway
Level Up really sucks, they are directly responsable for screw up Ragnarok Online servers in brazil, HOW?
- They just started to sell for real money the most overpowered MVP cards in the game and overpowered consumable (instantly full health with no colldown) e etcâŠ, this actions completely blowed the game economy and gameplay.
- They gived a â â â â about BOTs to a point that was impossible to grind in some maps crowded of more than 100 BOTs, YES ALMOST 1 BOT per SQM in the same map. Ragnarok community have a lot of awesome and effective tools to protect the server from BOTs and Hacks, for example Harmony Shield.
- Level UP took more than 2 years to launch some of the RO expansions, they were the only publisher to have the most outdated RO Servers in the world, most of the non official brazilians servers were a lot of more organized, updated and with a lot more players in total than LUGs RO.
- Their support (Ticked based) was terrible, almost impossible to contact a person with basics knowledges of the game to solve simple problems.
- Their prices was to high for mostly of brazilians.
- There was know cases and a lot others of suspicions cases where the Game Masters favored others players and played/manipulated to one specific guild.
- A lot of players abused of inumerous bugs in the game since the beginning of the servers and the GMs did absolutely nothing.
- A lot of brazilians players have really annoying and bad behaviers like KSsing your whole mob just for fun, use itens to summons high level monsters in low level areas to kill new players, troll some maps to a level that no one can grind in that map e etc⊠and GMs one more time gived a â â â â about it.
All this actions caused the game to a level that half of players use illegal tools. the other half have to use illegal tools or do stupid things to compete agains the others half. The community became full of bad and retarded players and the game is now abandoned.
The Level UP RO problems go on and on, this is just one MMO example, they completly screw ALL MMOs they have/had doing absurds things like the ones above, some examples are Perfect Online, Rising Force Online e etcâŠ

and u forgot another thing, they REMOVED THE DROP CHANCE FROM MONSTERS SO U CAN ONLY GET CARDS WITH REAL MONEY!! (someone really reading this? cus this is TRUE, its happening right now and happens with a LOT of other games they have)

I understand the issue about âbad local publisherâ
But you guys are in difficult situation right now if you want a separate south america server in steam because
- you canât stop IMC doing business with Level up
- Level up wonât be happy if IMC start hosting their own south america server
- maybe there is a contract about preventing IMC to host a south america server because Level up are losing playerbase if that happens
Solution that I can think of
- use(buy) a vpn services when playing on steam ToS to reduce ping
- wait and see if Levelup ToS is a mess , gather people and report that to IMC and hope they might break the contract or fix the mess
- keep ranting on forums
the problem is, it will be great when it start, but we cant transfer in or out.
RO started great, but died with time, i dont want to lose all i have in 2-3 years cus they decided to âchangeâ the game, change prices, add P2W stuff to cash shop and i canât transfer to Steam server. i also started in Steam and have a lot of stuff thereâŠ
and the updates are a problem, some games they took YEARS to bring the new content
soâŠi alredy have a vpn =), but id prefer to spend that money on TOS, if the server works better i can do that

I tought the same thing. I copied just the same phase as a âquoteâ to reply and tell the same thing! But I had give up in the middle of the text, because I dont knew if latin people had really any choice, even with vpn. Dungeons and monsters are ok, but PVP will be hard to play with real chances.
