Sorcerer Info Megathread

yes and no … he does but again doesnt … when i unequip my weapon and let my ts hit something he does 1k-2k lower dmg … but his skills are always the same

templeshooters attacks get 2x with decay?

does shoggoth decay enough enmemies for it to be good?

does shoggoth decay work on templeshooter attacks

if so is it worth taking 1 circle necro

@Lurii shoggoth applys to every enemie around him decay for what i know … but when you go necro then go for sorc c2 and necro c2 for skeletons and more necro dmg … and btw. at the moment necro is crap but with the upcoming patch sorc c2 and necro c2 will be a viable pet build :nerd:

Edit: and yep decay works for TS

doe soggoth do the decay constantly or rarely

@Lurii he inflicts enemies always with decay for 5 mins after you summoned him … but you need the attribute and the decay debuff lasts for 15 sec but i dont know when enemies stand always at shoggoth that the decay timer will reset

The decay is 50% boost in damage now apparently. I’d have to see your build to see if it’s worth it…

So I just transcended my weapon two stages, and noticed 1-2k increase in dmg from my temple shooter. I think @Delcas is correct, it’s based on weapon atk right now.

It’s not only in the patch notes
Its mentioned again in the changes they just put up on ktest for summons as a whole (so that salaimon sucks less)

So they just increased the scaling or something? I’m confused why they would they mention it again unless it was a change…

Hmm because they now made it apply to salamion (as well as bokor zombies and Necros)

So now Salamion will gain attack based on your weapon attack.

I haven’t tested yet because feeling lazy but this should help the problem of Salamion: Burn doing basically no damage in a SPR build

Basically all summons now benefit from your weapons magic attack. So Summoners of all kinds are just as gear dependent as everyone else.

mommy pls record a video of ur sorc i wanna see the damage

I mean I can give you damage values or screenshots, but if I try to record ToS it only captures the sounds and for some reason no visual.

I’m an old player I got wiz1-cryo3-sorc2, I came back because of sorc improvments :grinning:
But im kinda confused, I was planning on going for warlock but sorc stat build right now is SPR.
-Do i still continue on going for warlock? or should I go for necro2 or sorc3?
-Is TS still good? or helga is the new summon partner now?
-And for staff/rod I just need to look for high matk?
Can anyone help me pls…

Yes, Wiz>Cryo3>Sorc2>Warlock2 still works well. Don’t worry about having to invest in SPR, you can get magic damage through weapon, enchants, enhancement, etc…

TS is still one of the best, though summons in general are weak. Sorcs are getting buffed soon though.

Yeah, look for high M.atk, and a staff that can give SPR/INT. Something like Regard Horn Staff or Vienerazis mace should be your endgame goal.

Also, Welcome back!

Wow nice! Thanks for the reply~

np. This is the skill point distribution that works well after rebalance btw. You can choose to not take gust and put points into subzero shield/ice wall if you want.

This is great! Thanks~ But why no attack ground?

Hold does the same thing as attack ground, but it’s better. Attack ground makes your summon attack things on the way and sometimes it goes back to you too early. Hold is also super short cd so you don’t need attack ground.

pls gib screenies QWQ
