Ok I’ve been playing Sorc for quite a while and I am actually loving it (185 C2 atm prolly going for C3). There are a few things bothering me though, at the moment it feels like there is little to no synergy between Sorc and some of its other circles / skills. Best example i can give is Lethargy with improved damage bonuses for (i think) slashing attacks when applied. Necromancers (corpse wall?) debuff applying bonus damage to missile type attacks (does not work with TS, ect ect).
Anyway I got to thinking about it Sorc is shown as a (DPS/Support) type class, I’d like to see them give cards attributes like (Tank/Dps/Support), and give them a certain attack type. (Like TS having missile basic attacks to synergize to necromancer for late levels).
Thinking was to have a few “tank” type cards that gain say (increase hate generation per a hit, or maybe a single target taunt that players can use when they ride to transfer hate to the pet for like 10sec).
The DPS cards could be like the standard melee/ranged (phy) and magic ranged cards that give certain abilitys. Melee could be more of a singletarget card with a mixed atttribute of say , slash 50% / pierce 50%.
Ranged phy is obviously those like TS but labeled as missile type attacks.
Then we have a ranged magic damage card (give the magic no element though).
The idea behind this is so sorc’s can use different cards for different enemys there farming, if mobs in dungeons had higher magic resist, use a ranged card, and vice versa so on.
The last card I thought about was maybe a healer type card (and no nothing overpowered just something very minor for groups with no healers in dungeons u could pop out to use a minor heal when they camp to help a bit). Kinda like a 10% heal +100 hp heal per summoning skill level (or cards star level might be better here).
Anyway sorry for the rambling but I’d like to see Sorc with more options, the downside to all of this is trying to level more cards, but if we are going to be a “support/dps” hybrid why not give us cards to match but still make them weaker then the actual classes in the game, more of a filler card if we are missing classes in random dungeons ect.
The biggest thing for me here is the lack of synergy with wizard circles to sorc pets though. The idea of card types was just a 2nd thought, an to be honest if they did the card types our SP usage would prolly be alot higher using multiple abilitys.
