Hello, I am novice and have some questions about Hunter and Falconer classes. I would like to have a such build: Archer -> Archer -> Hunter -> Hunter -> Hunter -> Falconer -> Falconer (i like pets), but as I understand it isn’t effective, can i play with this build? I am also intrested in a stats build, some people say that a falcon doesn’t use your strength,, is it true? How is about Hunter? Must i put most of my stat points in a dexerity and don’t care about the strength?

It’s a suporte build, if you don’t mind the lack of aoe until falconer be my guest, falconer adds utility do partys because of circling
Hunter pet scales with Hunter PAtk if I’m not mistaken so skilling Str is a good idea. Maybe Consider something else than Falcon2 but I’d be interested to see how this build is endgame with Falcon2.

Coursing- you will have to wait for it’s FULL duration before you can freely use your pet again
Retrieve- once the mob is dead, you can walk to the pet and it will disengage where then you can input another command. Also if you use retrieve then Growling, it doesnt break the skill and it also continues to disable mobs with growling.
Above two are not useable for bosses.
Snatching- Can be resisted but if hit, you will murder air mobs and bossess.
Thank you for answers, i decided that it will be very hard for me to play with a Hunter or a Falconer because i play solo and need in a good AOE. I’m going to play with a Ranger + Fletcher build, but the Hunter and the Falconer are very attractive (nice skills and pets) for me and it was very hard to abandon them.
It’s not mentioned anywhere but Rush Dog is an aoe.

Do note however when deciding on the pet route: 1 pet decreases the amount of available characters in your lodge by 1. In other words 1 pet = 1 less character to play.
Rush dog is an aoe 4x4, i chosse A1>R1>H3>Fal2, ranger provides some aoe and its really useful A2 would be way better with falconer multishot its godlike with circling and kneling shot. If Shcwarzer reiter let me use falconer i would get 1 lvl in that class, but since you can’t use any of hunter and falconer skills while monted is a waste of circle
