Overrated =/= extremely bad class. I’m not implying you should reroll. QS C3 is good, just overrated.
Well what other archer options are there to fit what i would want to play style wise?

Qs3 is fine just pairing it with something that scales well into late game is annoying, the main problem is that single target doesn’t do anything in this game. Besides world bossing and that’s like…a joke lol.

Wugushi doesn’t spam their skills. They let their DoT sink in. The class has 2 AOE, Wugong Gu and Throw Gu Pot. It’s just usually a bad pick since it’s bad if there’s another Wugushi around. It’s the only alternative I can think of for your playstyle. Even a QS C3 > Wugu C2 has synergy since you can make Wugong Gu do AOE ticks alot faster by spamming normal attacks on the main target. Add Cannoneer as it’s Rank 7 and it’s a pretty solid build already.
Honestly, as much as possible try avoiding Falconer. It uses a Rank 6 slot just for 1 skill, that’s a really horrible decision.
My think is the fact other wugus scrwe the entier clasd of wugu at bossing and pvp. The factvone class is entierly scrwed over seems crazy to me.
I do hear you about falcon but we kinda lack good options synergy wise
It’s not Wugushi’s fault though. It’s IMC with their incompetent programming if not class balancing.
Even on World Bossing, QS C3 can’t compete. Your priority there is having high burst as well as sustained. QS C3 can only offer the latter.
Circling and aoe attack ratio in general is still limited by the skill’s actual hitbox. Not to mention not every skill works with it. But yeah… wugushi is preety fun classi n bossing. I just override other wugushi’s poison. But yeah… QS3 is preety weak atm imo in late game.
Well my thing is this i try my best to plan for late game. My builds i normaly run in any mmo is the sniper motif. Aoe is never a priority with me as most end game content in most games is raiding basef on single targets when youlook at any major game.
I completely understand your POV on this but in ToS, it’s different. Just look at Earth Tower, it’s full of zerg rush of beefy mobs.
On other MMOs, usually bringing 1 or 2 AOE DPS class is enough but ToS requires too much focus on AOE that you’d rather bring more supports to “support” the AOE DPS like Cryomancer C3 and Chronomancer C3.
I think there was one korean ET party that even uses 2 Chronomancer just to support their single Wiz3>Ele3>Warlock which is really ridiculous.
Well that just is annoying. I can bring some aoe in my playstle but i hate over doing it personaly. I have seen people with my build doing well in ktos et so there is some hope.
Was the circeling change done in ktos already? I know itos is supposed to bring diffrent patches then ktos so i wonder what will happen
The question is, are you sure they are not being half a burden on those ET runs. I seriously can’t think of a reason to bring a QS C3 with a Falconer on my future ET exploration runs.
I think the nerf was already applied as well as Snipe’s massive AOE reduction.

I think the rough bit of builds are becuase they need to be so specific to meet one pupose. Pve single target bossing. Pve aoe et. Pvp build it just seems ver limiting
Fletcher C3. Though I’d say Crossfire is another overrated AOE because it’s gimped by it’s casting animation and it locks Fletcher on spamming it alone.
Fleatcher is nice and does great dmg single target ad aoe but i honestly feel there will be a nerf soon
I think it’s pretty much guaranteed that the nerf will come. Just look at Barbarian before, it was so strong that it was bandwagonned then eventually hit by nerf hammer so many times that it started needing a buff instead lol QS already got a nerf before just in-case you didn’t know. Running Shot first change was 2 hits added, now it’s just 1 hit added.
I think the next rank upgrade will show us what IMC wants archers to be , right now I don’t feel like archers fit well with the content they have presented, as we aren’t as viable as wizards. Our skill combos barring a few select builds don’t have nearly as much destructive synergy as wizard for practical purposes,and usually have party skills to help along the way. Where as all we have are damages.
Pied piper appraser and hackapell have potential to be more than just “hur durr 400% modifier pick me cuz high damage hur durr” Possible more utility skills and such, but as of right now archers are stuck trying to get the best damage possible without aiding the party in anyway. Picking falconer or even a rank 7 class “Just to get invites to parties” is such a shame, kinda the same with swordies being rejected for no taunt. I should be able to get as many parties with my SR2 as I do falconer, witch many SR have noted that they don’t have problems witch is a good sign.
Crossfire takes ages to spam and anything that relies on ping in this game is a red flag for me. I would definitely take Wagu and don’t look back. Sapper and rogue are cool too.
I don’t feel the same way though. I’m pretty confident that my Scout build will be competetive for Earth Tower. I’m just waiting for my friend to catch up before I can start leveling again to Lv280. Been stuck at Lv252 for ages.
For my target party composition on ET, as long as there’s a Cryomancer C3, my build can definitely out-AOE-dps a Wiz3>Ele3>Warlock. Double Flare does not lock me unlike Crossfire locks a Fletcher, I can spam other skills freely while Double Flare continously ticks on the ground. Flares will keep stacking as long as I keep getting Pass from a Chrono C3 which is staple on ET runs.
