So you really don't listen to the players

Welp, I just read the news about not allowing 1 on 1 Trade for not token users. I guess you just don’t care about what people think about your game (even if it makes you lose half your player base, because that is what will happen).

You will lose people that are willing to pay for a game they like. And we love ToS, but that penalty is unrealistic, such as wanting to get rid of bots and gold sellers by using that means, and it takes so much fun out for the game.

I guess this will be a good-bye soon

let me think a while …

bye

I do not know why I think about private servers seeing your post @mauro.annetta
But somehow that sounds like a quick solution to me. Which is sad.

IMC is simply ignorant.

I put so much effort in trading threads already, its getting tiring. But I will never stop.
Because if those Gold Sellers want to sell their stuff, they will.
No matter what.
Unless you completly shut down market as well.
But that means even more players will quit.

Obviously making trade possible with tokens will not help. Only IMC’s wallet temporarly.
But also not for too long.
Gold Sellers can afford tokens easily.
So it’s no difference if they allowed free players to be able to trade or not.
Especially now when you cannot even trade any silver at all.
So why cant free players trade equipment instead?
My god…IMC is so naive and they think they are smarter than other people.
But in fact you only need a little of common sense to see that this system is made by total losers without proper education.

Money money money~ (While it lasts) ((Ps: Could last longer if you listened to players IMC))

Personally, I’m a bit surprised that a lot of people seem to despise the game just because of the trade restrictions. I’ve quite enjoyed the game so far, and just used the market system whenever I’ve wanted to buy or sell something.

1:1 trading is enabled for token users so I can simply activate mine if I really wanted to engage in such, and although I found the 30 trade limit per month restriction a bit strange, I doubt that the majority of the players would be able to hit their monthly trade limit.

Trade being restricted to users with premium subscription also exist in other MMOs such as Phantasy Star Online 2, and they seem to be doing just fine.

If you play solo and your only group activity is occasionally queuing for a dungeon run you’ll probably be fine. But gods forbid you try and play with friends, or (worse) a guild. You’ll waste your 30 trades in a blink if you decide it’s a good idea to give the drops to your group/guild members.

I suppose I can see how that can become a problem in that case. I’m not sure myself why they impose a monthly trade limit.

I personally don’t care for trade. The only time I find it inconvenient is when I am hunting with buddies and I end looting something they’re looking for. The drop rate is decent enough. Perhaps allow trade but put a time limit? Othwise the item would be AH or NPC only (not sure how easy it’ll be to implement)?

A little bitter about trade because I’ve been a victim of account hacking from other MMOS and I am pretty confident about my security habits like changing / not telling anyone about it. Not trading is sort of okay with me.

I honestly like the auction house the way it is. I put stuff up, go hunting for loot, completely forget about the AH. When I do remember it’s a neat gift to future self. Like finding coins between sofa cushions.

Edit: retracting earlier statement. wish the AH wasn’t so significantly pay to win or inconvenient. but it does give the game time to respond to gold buying attempts before it spreeds too far? (Just guessing). Everyone should be taxed 30% +_+

They could just remove the limit on the token. But still doesn’t make it fair that the trading is even behind a paywall in the first place. I mean, it doesn’t even stop bots or silver sellers. I encountered a herd of bots yesterday, they should give us a report button soon.

I love how IMC is punishing their player base because they find the older methods of banning bots primitive. In the end, gold sellers and bots still win because they “forced” IMC to strangle a basic interaction in a MMO.

I completely agree, they’re so focused on shutting down gold sellers that the players end up getting a crappy experience. They’re having a pissing contest with gold sellers while us players are standing directly below them, getting pissed on.
