So why are tokens back to 500k mininimum?

Did IMC ninja revoke the change they made to allow sale of tokens at 350k? I was enjoying buying tokens at what I considered a reasonable price, I bought an extra and I was planning on grabbing another… but now I can’t because all that is left is 500k tokens and with their negative changes to gold income and the repair costs and gold sinks setting such a high restriction on tokens is ridiculous. Let tokens be a market based price like everything else in this game.

500k is still really cheap considering its benefits…you should be glad the minimum is 500 and not 1.5m or something. (which im sure it will be in time)

I can’t believe anyone would complain about something so petty. Go figure a ■■■■■■■ item someone buys with their real money sells at a high price. That’s just ■■■■■■■ illogical.

you should buy all the tokens while you can. After it goes f2p the price will skyrocket.

But for now, it’s a price floor IMC implemented to encourage players to spend their founders pack TP. A price floor will induce market entrance in perfectly competitive market that will increase the supply since everyone will be able to sell tokens at above the equilibrium price. This will generate an economic profit since prices can’t fall. After the game goes f2p, there will be an increase in demand, increasing the equilibrium price.

In short, for now the price floor will drain founder packs TPs. Then it will drain peoples wallet. Very smart business model by IMC.

you should buy as many as you can now that they’re cheap, I bet anything you want that once we go f2p, in 2 weeks it’ll be in 1.5m+

lol, you realize that I am not complaining about a price that THEY set, I am complaining about an arbitrary price set by the developers… Like you said they paid for it with their real money, they should be able to set it to whatever price they want… if they want to sell it for 1000 silver that should be allowed. Your own logic makes your point invalid.

I am not really suprised in a price floor, I am curious why they took the price floor down to 350k and then ninja changed it back to 500k without a word to us…

Bots buying them and people are starting to get more money.

Why would anyone even sell 198 tp item for a measly 350k? D: I guess people never think but that 350k wont do too much for you anyway, unless just fast little cash.

With two days of waiting time, it’s not even that fast. I guess it just sounds like a huge sum for those who aren’t used to huge amounts of in game cash in mmorpgs.

Tokens are 1.8m cheapest in Ktos

Why you want to buy all tokens available now? so you can sell it with high price later? i thought other forum mentioned that token that sold in market is not resell-able.

the only token you can really sell is the one you purchase from TP shop.
I’m considering myself to buy more tp when it is available after f2p to get more token from tp shop in case i need more silver.

You have to use the tokens. You can’t resell them. So only buy what you personally want and need or you’ll be stuck with a lot.

Got it. thought they mentioned to get more tokens now to be sold later.
If they want to stock more tokens for themselves is up to them
But the token itself has a time limit of 30 days. I can’t imagine someone would stock tokens a lot for him/her self.

dude theres no time limit lol u just use when u want

The idea to hoard them is buy couple dozen for cheap now and you have premium for the next few years for a fraction of the price they will cost later. Of course you’d be missing the silver you could use for something else now so it depends on each case how players should and how they want to invest the silver they have at the moment.

I buy tokens now because I don’t have 20 dollars a month in disposable income, and since I do have the currency to do so it is a good investment.

The biggest point I was curious about was not one of complaint against the 500k price floor reversal… what I wondered is why they casually changed it to 350k and allowed it to stay that way for a week, and then without putting anything in patch notes put it reverted that change. It just seemed like it might have been a mistake since they went out of their way to lower the price floor in the first place…

Now we know that the people buying them at this price have been scammed

If i didnt have other things to spend money on before their prices inevitably inflate, id snag a bunch of tokens just to cover my token use for the next few months. Id then take the TP i saved to buy fresh tokens later, and sell them when they are worth more

IMC doesnt set minimum price though, its auto calculated. There was some 490k tokens a little while back. Im not sure how the system works, but if every token listed is at 500k, i think the system will let you set an even lower price. If theres a good spread of 500K to something higher of a certain ratio, it probably keeps the 500k cap.
