So seriously how is a support even needed in this game

Not speaking of dungeons, it’s obvious, people are looking there for a healer. But it can be anything tbh, a cleric dps with a heal >_>

Currently level 36, since I started a game, I was added in 2 parties and asked for spamming blessing. When I told them I cannot afford it at this point of the game, I was kicked right away.

Leveling up an int/spr priest is ridiculous, so is the possibility of finding a party, everyone treats you as an exp leech and would rather farm all by themselves. The monsters don’t hit hard enough to be in need of heals anyway LOL

In CBT people added me to their parties but it was mostly due to the fact, everyone was so welcome because the game was new.

Won’t say, I love this game, but I’m getting frustrated. Shall I reroll my priest and go for some dps or it changes later game and I actually will get any useful…? Planning to go chaplain only for PvE, I do not PvP.

Now, I’m super low level myself, and going for a support wizard, but I’m going to say it’ll probably change later in the game.

The problem there is actually leveling. Supports that focus fully on support have trouble actually, y’know, killing things. Personally I’m looking at Wizard3/Linker2/Alchemist2.

I’m going to need all the help I can get, just like a pure support cleric would… so I HAVE to have hope that the late game is hard enough to make people need me.

Finding a party is definitely a requisite to level pure support builds (not sure if INT priest is actually one of the builds that is hard to level though…)

As for whether support is needed, wait until later in the game when content is actually hard. Obviously at low levels people would much rather just kill and grind as fast as possible. But the payoff is pretty nice for support builds later on, see how fast you can get in a party as a Cryo3/Chrono3 if you stayed sane through the grind. And of course support builds can be amazing in pvp.

Heal/Cure is a nice thing indeed but both have long cooldown and I farm mostly with autoattacks which is so slow. If I get to such point I can afford 24/7 blessing it will get easy indeed…

I was unable to play during kTOS, do people really look for supports for parties later on? At which level does it start :D?
And I don’t play PVP :frowning: I hate such competition.

If youre solo guy dont go for full support. I mean what were you expecting? Oh i will go for full suport and people will bring me along all the time. Comon man, keep it real. Youre still 30+, time to reroll in something more solo. Lets if you wanna be suport try to mix some Krivis, good choice for INT clerics, or if you wanna go for Phys damage try some STR paladin which could also mixed with Krivis or Priest. Full suport soloish guy is dooooomed. So You either looking for guild/party who can end your struggle or reroll, youre like 4-5 hours away from 0 lvlv so it wont be a huge waste of time.

I opened my founder’s package on my priest, I guess I’m unable to transfer it to another character without turning on token… And I want to keep it until holidays when I have more time for playing. So I will have to stick with myFS, just wanted to make sure I get useful later.

Yeah, and that’s what I actually expected, thought creators wanted to put emphasis on a teamwork, didn’t expect monsters to be THAT easy, that other people don’t waste any hp at all. Having a healer on your team should be the replacement for buying potions. But welp, seems you need neither :slight_smile:

Come on man, you are in your level 30’s in a game where level cap is measured in hundreds. It’s ridiculous for you to make any assumptions at the moment about how much support is needed when you are still in beginner content many people just want to burn through as fast as possible.

why are you going int as a priest?
I am just leeching on my bf’s exp currently and not spending anything on buffs :slight_smile:

What should I go instead? Isn’t it 3:1 INT:SPR until 30 SPR and then 3:1 INT:CON?

hmm well token seem to be shared between chars, so is the pet and the rest of the stuff you can just put them in team storage i think (didn’t try yet)

well it matters what ranks you want later on but priest skills scale with spr not with int. (the one one that scales with int is the heal but it also scales with spr so no reason to go int). I am currently going SPR:CON 1:1, maybe you can put more in spr but in the end I want to have enough hp not to get 1 shot in dungeons.
I don’t think I’d have problems lvling solo cause of my sustain but it’s just that killing stuff is slower alone.
I’m lvl30 atm cause I’m saving cards for later.

ps. go on a skill simulator page and read the skill description, it will write how they each scale

ah you didn’t open it yet, well token also gives you 30%+ exp so it might help you now

Um, mind telling why? Blessing is like the cheapest spell in priest tree, with high hit count and short cooldown.

Seriously I cannot understand why keeping up 2 buffs is hard.

because you have to buy consumables in order to cast the priest buffs and it’s quite expensive at low lvls, considering you also want to lvl up attributes and repair you crap like other ppl do

I’m level 37 and I have over 60k silver, pretty sure that covers all your priest needs

You don’t go for max attribute at level 37. But yeah I do have 2 attributes at level 20

Why not? I’ve been maxing out my blessing possibly as much as I can afford.
