So... Now that expand is dead

How do aa builds get by? High dmg and kill one by one?

Thinking of a musketeer AAish build with the upcoming skill, A3 qs3 musk.

But the lack of aoe worryes me a little… so how to proceed?

If you mean AA - Single target build like what yoi mentioned, you may find it fun in the beginning but you will soon realize that if you got no AoE in this game, that it is a huge mistake (PvE wise)

That is why for archers the meta is Falco 3 or having Sapper in to your build. Those are some of the only few ways archers can sustain decent aoe dmg

Well even with Falconers Circling: expand change (death), Falconer was heavily compensated with high amounts of damage in Pheasant and Pre-Emptive Strike. AA builds still get by, just gotta use your falconer skills and upgrade and actual main hand weapon

Well, my problem is not with falc3, but since this is (probably) a musk build and the best of falc comes at circles 2 and 3, with pheasant vaccuum and preemptive strike, falc is incompatible with musk atm.

I mean, if expand was still the way it were before than it would be worth to build around falc3, but since it is not…

I’m wondering if a single targget build is doablr…

New musketeer skills will hit 8-10 targets without aoeratio. he’s ok.

It isn’t if you only want to get single target skills.
But if you have a few aoe skills or ways to reflect your hits, then it’s fine. You can focus on single target and get a few aoes to help you in PvE when you solo. You don’t need to build full aoes or focus too much on them if you want to be single target.
Most AA builds will actually have a few aoes that they use in solo PvE, or ways to reflect. Although with a strong weapon your AA will become effective. Still not as effective as a good aoe when you group the mobs though, of course.

Yeah, i’m wondering about this as well, but i will be relying only on musketeer skills for aoe, and while they do hit hard, the hitbox are not impressive… especially compared to Cannon.

But archers don’t really have that much aoe on lower ranks anyway, except for broom trap, so my plan is to go for aa modifier on lower ranks, qs3 and Archer 2 for kneeling shot and maybe scout for pvp, archer 3 or rogue for pve.

circling lv5+covering fire doesnt work anymore?
