So I look over the forum and all I see is complaints

and I am kind of getting sick of it…

We have all come here to play this game, and most of you playing this game are just commenting because you want more things without working for them. “I want more dungeon runs without making an alt”, “I want class re-rolls so I can play every class without re-rolling”, “Why can’t the servers be free to play, I am too cheap to pay 15 dollars but still want to enjoy things paying players do”…

This is the most entitled ridiculous nonsensical community I have ever seen with un-managed and over inflated expectations of what they want from a game. There are many players of us that enjoy the game, and play it for what it is, and don’t complain to get things we don’t have as though the game developers owe us something… and to those of us that do this… we need to speak up.

This forum and the reddit are being crushed with entitlement and childish expectations and we need to begin telling IMC that these crybabies are not the majority… that they don’t need to bow to a bunch of whining children and given them what they want because they don’t realize it will ruin the game.

An example is 3 dungeons a day… you get 3 dungeons, 3 missions, 3 saalus convent, and 5 daily quests a day… I have 2 characters and already I can’t keep up with all of my daily entrees… so if you are complaining about daily dungeons you are not in a position to pass judgement on the game, because you are not far enough into it to understand how the game is meant to be played.

The other core example is people screaming and crying for class re-rolls. This game has no end game… it is a linear grind and meant to be this… the fun of this game is in the class system that is designed so that you have nearly infinite combinations of classes to roll and try again… this game’s endgame is in the replay-ability. Think “new game +” from dark souls… except it gets easier and you get to try new stuff…

So if you are a person that has been whining to get what you want and not considering that maybe the people with over 10 years of legendary game design experience might know more than you about what is good for the game… Please calm down and consider that you are not the smartest person in the world about everything, let the game designers do what they do best and wait for them to finish.

If you are a person that is like me that has been standing by and watching these forums get dumped on by a bunch of selfish ninnies… speak up… tell IMC they are doing a good job (We all know the game needs work, but they are doing a good job none the less). We do not need them discouraged and bowing to a mass of screaming children that ruin our game because they want everything free, cheap, easy, and infinite. If they want an easy game I heard Hello Kitty Online was still up.

Bro, look around.

There’s a ■■■■ ton of stuff to complain about.

If the game were good, there’d be less complaints. Don’t frequent forums for games with lots of problems if you don’t want to read complaints.

It is a call to arms. If you took more than 2 minutes to read the context you might have understood. I am telling the players that enjoy this game to stand up and let IMC know they are doing a good job and to keep up the good work.

Though I wouldn’t expect a person who complains about guides for games because they “require you to grind” in a grind game to understand.

No there is not a lot of stuff to complain about. There is that entitlement. The thought process of “IMC owes me everything I want because I live with my parents and never worked a day in my life and don’t understand the common courtesy needed to respect something somebody else created and be appreciative of that creation instead of crying that they make it what I want.”

Why are people trying to log in in the first place if the game is to bad? How about praising them for making a game so good you sit on the forums and cry your pre-teen eyes out about not being able to log into.

there 's alot
and this game grand open in kr like half a year already
there 's ton of bug and one side pvp for magic attacker
yeah they are doing good but not good enough
that’s why people still complain alot for what they have to pay to play

While ToS fails badly in certain areas as an MMO, it still features wonderful classbuilding and have a great potential for mass-PvP in case FPS problems are dealt with. I’m willing to give it a shot regardless.

But truth be told there definitely are topics community should complain about.

Entitlement is the belief that your 10 USD is valuable enough to put down somebody else’s art… to take a creation and scream at the artist and designers to make it what you want. Your 10 dollars can’t even buy you a tank of gas and somehow it entitles you to control of an entire game you did nothing to build?

Yes.

  1. Connectivity. Players should be able to access the servers and stay connected when doing dungeons/missions/etc.
  2. Optimization. Dropping to single digit frames during a world boss or just running around a crowded city, doesnt work too well.
  3. Bots/RMTers

The rest can be worked out later. There are too many useless or non critical complaint threads. So many repeated non critical ones as well.

Yes, there is a difference between bringing server connectivity issues to the developers attention, and crying because you want free items in game. I was talking about complaints, not constructive feedback, but I am glad you understand.

One truth about gaming forums is that players who enjoy playing the game will be less likely to post in forums since they are too busy playing the game.

Hence forums are naturally skewed towards complains more. Some of the folks here did try to liven up the general negativity in the general forums, but are severely outnumbered by those who complain.

There’s really only a few things I want to see happen in this game fixed, the bugs and connectivity issues especially in Silute and Telsial, a proper rebalancing of class such as pretty much all swordsman in general, classes like Schwarzer Reiter and Sadhu etc

Other than that, everything else is enjoyable and my past month in the game has been cool even with all the hiccups happening every now and then, the game has a great potential if the issues get sorted out
