Skill point distribution for Rogue PVP build

Hey, guys.

I’m leveling a A3-Sc1-Rog3 (about to get to Rogue 3) and I was wondering about the ideal skill point distribution for pvp.

I actually have 10 Sneak Hit, 5 Backstab, 3 Capture and 3 Lachrimator; I’m looking forward for Burrow as well.

The thing is I have ~250 DEX (going later for 50 STR and 50 CON), so I don’t know how much to invest into Feint or Evasion. I read somewhere that a single point in Feint is enough, but 3% less evasion doesn’t look good on paper; however, Feint does look good if you think of it as trading skill points for more critical damage instead of accuracy on gems.

Any help is greatly appreciated :3

for pvp archer, you need to kill the enemies ASAP from GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY. Rogue tend to be melee. I prefer evasion than feint

Was working on my rogue for pvp as well, but changed it up to be semi-pve. I have sapper C2.

Sneak Hit at 10 is good enough.
Evasion maxed is very useful in pvp.
I would suggest for you to max your Backstab. With a good dagger you can deal massive damage to kill with 1 hit. I’m strength based, it is important to note you can miss with backstab even if it was going to crit.

Feint is a good combo with Backstab as you can turn enemies around for insta BS. I personally did not level this skill though.

Lachrymator to about lv5. Very useful keeps enemies silenced and blinded. Good for ambushing and escaping.

I have Capture at 5 and think it’s sufficient. You can use capture to reuse lachrymator 1 more time as the cd is 1m. It is very useful for me as a sapper as i get to reuse or lay double the traps for burst.

Burrow isn’t as good as it sounds and won’t do well in pvp. The moment you use skills you’ve given your position away and you can still be hit with aoe skills. Stealth is way better. Important to note is only archer and ranger skills can be used while burrowed (very limited choices). Only level 1 for emergency purposes is what i suggest.

Thanks! That’s useful info. I took Archer 3 mostly for skills usable while burrowed (Twin Arrows, lvl 15 Multishot, etc.). Maybe, for my next skill reset, I could max out Swift Step to make the Evasion skill even better, since there are less ways to get evasion now.

It’s still unclear to me if I should be opening like Cloaking-Feint(no attribute)-Backstab or just Cloaking-Backstab with accuracy gems on gloves.
It’d be nice to have an opinion from a DEX rogue as well.

Anyway, you sure about level 10 Sneak Hit being enough? Because it is a % and not a flat bonus, it gives the build futureproof critrate.

Had a typo on Lachrymator, i meant lvl 5.

You should max out Swift Step if you’re already going with Archer 3. If only they added some additional range with Burrow. It’s has really slow animation to enter/exit burrow mode. At this point even camouflage is more useful in pvp.

If you’re cloaked you can go either way to Backstab maybe depends if target is highly evasive or not. Using feint or any other non-attack skill doesn’t cancel cloak and yeah it’ll help reduce target evasion.

Sneak Hit at 10 is quite adequate, as you’ll get better equips to further enhance crit rate. Hence why many players just go up to Rogue C2 only. It’s up to you really, the trade off of 10% also gives you flexibility to add points elsewhere.
