Skill choice for Doppel C3

So I’ve seen a lot of divergence on the choice of point distribution for Doppel on the guides and builds I searched. Idk how much to invest into Deeds and Punish (given that most kTOS ET doppel videos make great use of Punish).

I’d like to know from experienced Doppels C3 what’s the best alocation for ET/late game PvE in your opinion.

some prefer more redel, less zwerch and sturtz, that’s up to you

if you dont have a skill reset…

or no zucken and put them else where, like 1 dpe and more c3 skills.

Can we skip zornhau if we have shock from crown or does zucken only work with zornhau shock?

if you went with SW3/Barb3 path taking zornhau is a good idea because it’s a 4 hit skill with the attribute taken with level 6 zornhau requirement, you reset that back to 1. pretty ok filler for sw3 and barb3, optional for HL3

I see bro. I think i will skip zorn. And use crown for shock debuff to benefit zucken. Then i have extra skill points not sure where to put yet. Iv read somewhere before some skills are fake multihit right? Not sure which

Zwerchhau = 1 hit (100% fake multi hit)

Sturtzhau = 2 real hits (rest are fake)

Zucken = 4 real hits (attribute on c3 = fake multi hit)

Zornhau = 1 hit (attribute on c3 = fake multi hit)

Redel = 7/8 (?, couldn’t count well lol, rest are fake multi)

iirc, Redel was the only true multi hit. Haven’t played the game for 2 months now so I’m not sure if any changes were implemented in it.

redel also has fake multi hits mixed in sadly

@migzzz @Lostac thanks for the info guys. Really still dont know what is the point in showing 1 hit skills in multiple hits. Does fake multihits even have a purpose?
The only fake multihits i see with purpose are pierce and barbed arrow. Where the skill doesnt actually have 3 separate dmg calculations of a real multihit, but its not a divided dmg like a fake multihit as well. Its actually the original dmg x3 times to show the extra dmg it deals to specific sized monsters

if you go sword3 hl1 barb1 doppel3 whats the best rotation to use?

looking at my vid yeah I can see. but it was the closest one in having true multi hits. I really hope they change this. I’m still holding on to my non dov doppel.

I’ve said it plenty of times on other threads, their purpose is for Double Pay Earn users, so they don’t waste their hit counts on each hit. AKA cyclone.

technically it’s still the same as 1 hit+modifier rather than splitting that 1 hit into multi hits

DPE functions the same way if you show 1 hit or fake multis.

I too share the same sentiment and I think that’s a question I don’t think I’ll ever get an answer. lol. it just doesn’t make sense. the only reason I can think of is just for show off, like it makes you look stronger I guess? lol. I guess for people who likes seeing lots of numbers. but really, it doesn’t serve any purpose and just causes confusion.

If you use DPE lvl 5 with a “true” multi hit like cyclone, it will consume pretty much all your hit counts just on 1 mob. Now the same DPE lvl 5 using Seism, will consume 1 hit count regardless of it showing 3 or 100000 hits on the screen.

the point is, 1 hit+modifier seism or 3 fake multi hits functions the same way with DPE,

in this case, better show “One real hit+modifier” instead of fake multi hits, it serves no real purpose to show fake multi hits at all, that’s what batman was saying.

well… it looks pretty good can’t denied that. other than flashy showy. No other purpose hurrrrr

rotation is pretty much the same as barb variants, since you have the core skills.

The beauty of SW3 is Maxed PB which doppel really needs and restrain synergy with cyclone.

cons: less attacking skills, no PA buffs, no armor break.
