Since Ranger3 is wack. Whats the iToS version "OP PVE AOE DPS" archer build?

BTW, which skills should I go for as Scout 1? I changed earlier tonight!

CLOAKING FOR THE WIN. Who doesn’t love that +5 movement speed attribute and 50% additional patk on next skill used. :heart_eyes_cat: Cloaking is very helpful on high level maps, too. You will sure gonna love it like I do~~

In this case go for:
Camouflage - 5
Flu Flu - 1
Flare Shot - 4
Cloaking - 5
^ Most common but u can also max flare shot and lvl 4 to camouflage.

That damage will fall off later on (lv 300+)

Imo, the solid (and obvious) builds are
A2 - R1 - Scout1- Fletcher 3 - MErgen

or the Hardcore version (should be shitty to level up with)
A2 - QS1 - Scout- Fletcher 3 - MErgen

R1 for leveling up and short time burst via steady aim
QS1 for defence utility

Fletcher 3 will have good skills even at 300+. Hail Mary got a 1.5 aoe skaler, DMA got a x5 scaler. Bodkin/MA are multihit with a very high base.

2:1 or 3:1 dex:con, just go for the crit cap. With those attack power values of Mergen, there is not much need for STR.

How can a class that spams a skill that has a % modifier fall on late game? Would be true if it was flat damage.

I personally love A3 R1 as an opener for Fletcher3, but Scout1 is what makes Fletcher more viable for pvping, and the added move speed from cloak is nice.

Cloaking physical damage atribute is a trap. It adds 50% of your physical attack on top of the original damage of the skill.

Instead of (Physical attack + skill base damage) x 1,5
It is a ([1,5 x physical attack] + skill base damage)

And it only works for the next hit. This is not good for fletcher multi hit skills.

If you go for Mergen (which will be a good AoE class), what else you need then Filler and Utility?

Best ST Filler are Magic Arrow and Bodkin. Best AoE Filler are Hail Mary and DMA. (On that bow route, didnt checked what sappers/wugus are capable of doing)

Scout3 actually has 1 skill that hits 2 Enemies with a 200% Multi. You cant even use it for ST, cuz only the bounced attacks got that 200% scaler. t.w.o e.n.e.m.i.e.s for 2 full circles? You cant be serious

Archer 3 gives you Twin Arrows, which isnt needed, since Fletcher3 is already ST king and Mergen one of the better AoE dealer.

So, it boils down to A2 - R1 for easier leveling up (+ utility via SS and SA + ST CC for late gmae), Scout 1 for Cloak (Its not just good for pvp, easier questing, passing of mobs etc. its totally worth at c1) into Fletcher3 (2 Dots for lategame, DMA for nuking, HMA for AoE and leveling up)

So these are just my thoughts. Ive 3 Wizys with an accumulated 750 level. R1 C3 skills sucks(R2 C3 is also not very good, just look at all those crying pyromancers  ), even MM falls off in damage at 260+. Just use the early R1-R4 for leveling up and utility, then you going to ahve less problems at the end

Edit: I dont know if any of those R7 classes is it worth to combine it with fletcher2, i think you guys know this better than me. I was just focusing on Mergen, which means i only need ST+utility+some filler

That’s what I was thinking, really! I think I’ll go with 4 Camouflage and 5 Flare Shot.

Thanks, guys, for your answers!

already got a fletcher 3. scout 3 is just better. Not trying to main it or be strong, just a farming class.

What about this guys?

Seems like homing arrow works like magic missle, and magic missle doesn’t change with AoE Attack Ratio.

I get your point but.
Magic missle (maybe homing arrow) has locked AoE ratio modifier, it will be 1 for each missle whatever your AoE Ratio Attack is.
Falconeer makes mobs AoE def go to 0, so it hits everything nearby.

Indeed, I wish someone could test the interaction between circling and other mergen skills, we don’t know if they have an internal AoE ratio modifier.
There is hope

For fletcher, i really think it depends with the playstyle. I personally went A2-R1-SC-F3 becoz of the badass cloak and I can run fast with it and advantage in PVP. But I think this build will also be good as A1-R3-F3. Both have pros and cons. The first one will give you the advantage of cloaking, flare shot and swift step - more pvp oriented and the later will give you more for farming. But in the end, once you step fletcher Circle 2 what really matters is the fletcher skills.

For new fletchers or soon to be fletch, my suggestion is, dont spend too much on items at the start. Invest on your magic arrow attribute first. Once you reach lvl 60 magic arrow and around 30ish broadhead you already have a high chance of getting WB cube. If you dont have much silver, get the khasti bow / Light Gorithos first then upgrade to isbality/manamana and some glad band.

I highly recommend good amount of DEX for fletch. Get some Ella cards and always reach the crit cap at your level. IMO, evasion would be one of your main strengths aside from magic arrow. To effectively place magic arrow, you need to be near the enemy and with evasion, WB would not even be able to touch you except for magic of course. Even Saalus mission would be easy for you if you have good evasion. Hence, dont believe that evasion does not work at high level (at least at 280. not sure about pass 280 mobs).
