Simple Suggestions for the people holding down the Z button problem

Two of them actually.

  1. Holding down the Z button only causes 1 auto attack not continuous…

  2. Mobs, minibosses spawn on different spots in an area not just the same one to get spawned camped.

Sorry if someone suggested these already I didn’t know.

It’s not that bad i’ve manually done it plus this spawn camping is an honest problem.

Just make it that auto attack stops working after 30 seconds or so, and you have to press the button again.

Have to agree with this, having a set timer like maybe 15s before your attacks stop completely, no one should be attacking that long without moving. we have skills for heavens sake

that’s actually a really good idea, but mobs need to spawn at different locations too because a simple timed macro can loop the button presses to go on forever.

There’s an auto attack? My characters only hit once when I press Z.

Not only archer man… Anyone…

if you leave z pressed the character will start auto attacking.

The real problem is the lack of silver early game. Either reduce costs of early game stuff or buff silver rates from mobs.

  1. RIP Keyboard. Sooner or later the Z key will no longer respond.

They can make auto attacks cost stamina if youre with “z” button pressed for too long.

I don’t think this would be a threat worth of attention in long run, especially when change/effort needed to solve this is great or affect a lot of people.

Why not worth?:

  • It’s not a thing you can make much of money compared to character’s skill.
  • Holding down Z mean durability vastly reduced due to continuous attacking. Resulted in item unable to function which greatly reduce farm capability and likely lead to death.
  • Player and coin-botter could co-exist. Play could kill steal that coin-botter as much as needed.
  • It’s nearly not differ from Companion farming.
  • Many player (include coin-botter) benefit the monster respawn and distribution of monster in area.
  • Efforts to solve (as I read along in this topic) likely to affect a lot of player. So everyone suffer in order to chase down this thing is not worth it. It’s the same as the broken IPF file issue as it’s defense against bot/hack.

I’m not saying that I support this. I say that as long as we have no 'Safe and Effective Way", any action should not be made.
