Should I keep Stoneskin w/ no SPR?

So my build as a Chap>Kriv>PD so far is 100con(not quite there yet) and the rest into INT.

As time goes on I’ve been noticing my Stoneskin has not been doing much at all (I should have listened) and I feel like I can put those points (and rerout some of my other points) into maxing mass heal, ress, and pumping up Revive.

As a non spirit chap, is it worth? What do you guys think?

No, Stone Skin is not worthwhile to a Chaplain with low SPR. The higher level you get with a low SPR Chaplain, the more and more it drops off to mean almost nothing/becomes useless. Those points would be better spent in other things for an INT/CON Chaplain.

Yeah I figured as much. Been feeling it now, it barely blocks in the missions and occasionally blocks on normal mobs.

Curious if I don’t need stoneskin, what do i do about the points into capella?

I’ve been reading that thread, and it sort of devolved into two guys arguing whether or not priest 3 as a whole is worth for earth tower which atm is not my concern. I can’t really not do priest 3 as I love the chaplain class, so I’m just asking for inputs from peeps who did int chap.

That’s not to say the thread wasn’t a good read, I’m still watching that thread.

How many points did you put into exorcise if that’s the case?

While Exo in its current state isn’t great for mobbing, if it goes unresisted it’s probably good on bosses and counts as a debuff for PD.

only need 1 point into exo~However…compare lv1 exo and lv1 mag…I would say exo does almost same damage and more easier to use…

Yeah I can definitely agree to that.

Mag is so clunky to use atm, if only exo persisted instead of being eaten up by a single mob.

I think the initial intention was to work like exo doesnt get eat up but similar to another cure, then mag can be cast at any time of that duration~But seems they think they want sth new than just a copy to another skill, and altered the functionality…

That’s what I thought too. Maybe they’ll rework it at some point after the game stabilizes with all the other things that need to be done.

What do you guys think with this so far: http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/jk54eqs0lz/

I left sac at 5 so it has an even cooldown with last rites.

Similar to mine…But I still went SS~

As Int/Con Chaplain I’m not sure you should be going for more damage or get another support rank to make up for Stone Skin. What’s your goal in game?

Cleric2, Krivis, PD and Druid seems to be good picks.
Not sure about Diev1 though. Seems iffy to me.

Anyway, I always liked to see how they actually perform so here is my contribution.

I’m already a chap>kriv>PD so I just grabbed a better mass heal/revive/ress and knocked down sac to 1. Much like the chap>kriv>pd in the vid you linked tho he kept stoneskin, where I chose to not take it. (I already respec’d)

Diev is for Carve Attack, a burst for 15 hits that patch up what Chaplain missing~Basicly, it lets u burst down any trash in dungeon in no time~

But I am not Int/Con, I went Int/Dex~I still donno why Int/Con Chaplain should exist since they cant ensure every hit lands without proper gloves~Plus u can get some benefit from Monstrance with more Dex~

I dont want Druid because it failed so much on flying mob~I would prefer to rely on Aspergillum~

I’m able to hit things pretty consistently w/o dex so I’m good on this front.

Usually it’s ok~But when come to high dodge mobs or those can cast evasion, things become very ugly~

I was thinking about not to rely on acc from gear~Like wearing stuff with some other benefits but not much stat, such as Cafrisun Set or Vubbe Fighter Gauntlets~

When its the high evade mobs, usually my spells take care of them along with the autos that do hit.

Regardless, I understand where you’re coming from :o

Edit:
I totally misunderstood your post.
Just realised you only asked how can a Chaplain go low dex and dualshielder756 already answered it.

Thats wasnt about DPS, those dex not came from int but taken from con~So int would stay the same but with lesser HP and carrying weight~
Hence cheric2 for more safety zone hit count to survive~

I believe it’s the case that everyone have different standard for living~
I can still see dodge pop from mob with dex build sometimes, it will be much worse without it~But some ppl may still think that is ok. I admit I am just having OCD_(:з」∠)_ I cant tolerant any missing hit~
