I feel that there is a need for Server Transfer between Varena and Telsiai.
Many said that there was once server transfer and that we probably missed the deadline. For all that I know, the Server Transfer was given before Varena was out. It was given because SEA server Telsiai came out later and it is given for SEA players to play on SEA server.
This time however, the situation is very much different. After waiting for weeks of delayed F2P, when F2P finally happened, Telsiai was locked preventing non founders from playing in Telsiai. I understand the measures taken and I am not saying it is completely wrong. I understand that Telsiai was locked for serverâs stability. But that is just a part of the issue here. Founders who spent money and time have to be separated from their friends. Many kept saying that we can just give up our characters and massive amounts of TPs and Tokens to play in Varena if we want to play with our friends. The core issue here is, why do we who spent money ended up having to give up things such as our hours spent on our characters? If this is going to happen in the first place, we might as well not pay for founderâs packs in the first place. We who supports the game end up getting screw over by it. What I am saying is not that we who spent money should get some special treatment, but rather the fact that many of us find it hard to just give up the times we spent on our characters itself.
However, what is said above is just a tiny part of the problem here. IMC said Telsiai will be locked for an unspecific amount of time. How long is that? 1 week? 2 weeks? A month? How much time is âsoonâ? Here comes the second problem. What do we tell players who want to play with their friends in Telsiai? Wait for an unspecific amount of times that is not specific, or just play in Varena? If we were to ask them to wait, why does other region F2P players can play with their friends straight from the start while SEA f2p players has to wait? Once again, I do know a lot of these is due to serversâ stability and the measures taken is not wrong, but it does not mean that such issues should be ignored.
Now comes the third problem. After an announcement just the day before the maintenance, IMC opened up Telsiai. YAY? So⌠What now? Are we going to ask our friends to give up their two weeks of time spent on their characters in Varena to come play in Telsiai? What if there will be server transfer?
" The transfers will happen approximately 3 weeks after the new worlds are created in order to ensure that some of the head-start effects brought by older players are reduced"
There is a post stating all founders will be given a one time transfer. Some said it refer to the server transfer given for other players to transfer into Telsiai. Some said it is from Telsiai to Varena. When faced with so many different ways to interpret an once again ambiguous announcement made by IMC, what do people do? What can we do? IMC often gives us ambiguous statement or reply, but why should it be ambiguous in the first place? Why not just tell us straight to the face? I sent an support ticket pointing out the problem and asked IMC if there will be a server transfer. If there is not going to be one, I will try to come come out with a solution. BUT whichever solution that I can come out with always comes with either Varena and Telsiai players sacrificing their characters. These could all just be avoided if IMC just state that Telsiai will open in one or two weeks. Not to mention a post about Telsiai opening, yet retracting that announcement stating it was a false alarm. If they could just give a more specific time, not just give us the word âsoonâ, we could have asked our friends to wait even when other region F2P players are already playing. Imagine having to ask all your friends give up their Varena or Telsiai characters, and two weeks later server transfer opened, how will you feel? How will your friends feel? An MMORPG that you introduced to all your friends asking them to come and have fun, ended up making yourself isolated in a world without many of your friends. One MMORPG that separates you from your friends, how will you feel?
As I mentioned, I present this issue with a support ticket. I state that if there is a server transfer it would be great. If there is not, please tell us. At least if they tell us early we could make a decision earlier instead of spending times on our characters which would eventually be deleted. Guess what? No response. My friend send a shorter one just asking about transfer a week later and got an response less than fifteen minutes later. Mine was not replied for a week. It sort of gives me hope, making me wonder if they are seriously considering what I said.
Guess what again? IMC once again up the level of disappointing the players. This is the response I get after two weeks of waiting.

FYI, this is exactly the same response my friend got a week before me within fifteen minutes. Why do I get the exact same response? I was asking if there will be a server transfer, and IMC replied slapping me in my face with nothing? I rather they do not give reply than a patronizing reply given as if stating that they have received my support ticket.
IMC could have said they are considering server transfer. IMC could have said there will be no server transfer. Whichever they could every reply, will be much better than a response that once again avoid the question at hand and shrouding the players in the dark.
I do know and empathize on the server stability problem and waited weeks and weeks for a response patiently. I know it is not an easy issue and is a hard decision to make. I am not asking for an immediately solution or reply. At this point, a reponse stating there âmightâ, or âmight notâ be a solution is better than a reply that brushes everything away. All I ask is for IMC to not continuously shroud players in the dark and only giving announcement hours before it happen. I know it is a small company and they are struggling. But ignoring a problem hoping that it will eventually disappear is not the way to do thing. What about the weeks of waiting? What about those people looking at me for answers as I am the one who brought them into the game? Why is an MMORPG separating players and friends and is ignoring it? Why canât they just clarify things for once instead of stating obvious things? Many questions here, no solutions, and most importantly, IMC response which is better than none.
