Imagine if the banned words were America, US/USA or English.
imagine the mentality it takes to be a tinfoil hat wearer. these guys see the hypocrisy and manipulation from governments that everyone else sees. they just take it too far… just a tad too far… they ostracize themselves…
now take that shared view of their cray cray mentality and place it here on the kids that are crying about gay being censored…

Know what… i was just now playing the Elder Scroll Online and i found this nice “pub” in morrowing… went up the stairs into bedrooms and there was this girl dancing half naked for a guy… and just some meters far from them there were these two guys flirting… trying to talk with one of the guys made him answer me (male character) wait your turn lovely.
So yeah… let’s say that luckily not every game is “homofobic”… at least i think that’s the word xD
And no, i’m not offended by it one bit even tho i’m straight ^^
This game isn’t homophobic. 
How about just playing the game and talking about game related stuff in it? This isn’t a gay bar. No one cares about your sex preferences.

That is somewhat rude. Everyone can talk about whatever they want ingame… Who the hell does even talk about the game itself all the time anyway? Don’t you talk about food or how did you spend your day etc with your friends?
But anyway I don’t find it a big deal either…just express it in other ways. I wouldn’t mind if they would revise these words…but I can live with it as it is too.

“Appalled”? It’s a minor inconvenience. They’re not leading a crusade against gay people, it’s just a word that got included into their filter because it’s commonly used as a derogatory word nowadays. Besides, the original definition of “gay” wasn’t “homosexual”, it was “lighthearted”, “happy”, or “carefree”.
You’re not entitled to have it changed. Just play the game and have fun.

Read the title of this topic and read original message. He clearly complains about that word being censored IN GAME and clearly that’s what I’ve been referring to in my reply. Sorry but you’re the one who fail.
Everyone here who says it’s because of the derogatory usage forgets that the word lesbian is included. Last I checked people didnt say “That’s so lesbian”. Reminds me of this:

yeah… writing in OFF TOPIC complaining that we should talk about the game… is… absolutly… a logical… thing… damn this forum is awesome… there’s so many idiots all togheter that’s really the perfect place for a psychological experiment… that’s probably the reason why this is still open because otherwise with all people like you around… the best thing ever to do would be to BURN everything down like people use do to for deadly sicknesses in the past.

How are you so dumb? How is that even possible that even after additional explanation you still didn’t get it? One last time: I don’t care what people talk about on forum, he can talk about gay, global warming or little ponies over here, on forum that’s perfectly fine. But gay is not even censored on forum and forum isn’t the object of this discussion to begin with.
So what I was referring to is that there is no need to use word gay IN GAME because IN GAME people normally talk about things that are relevant to the game. On forum it’s fine, but he was never complaining about forum, he complained about IN GAME censorship, so IN GAME censorship is what I replied about. I never said he can’t talk or complain about it on forum. Do you finally understand, or your tool brain just can’t accept that you screwed up?

Yeah don’t need to repeat yourself, already saw your opinion on the matter. Unlike that other guy I can read and understand what you mean from the first try. Just trying to explain to him what I meant in my original message since he can’t seem to get it no matter what.
PS: No I don’t talk about my day with my game friends, as it none of their business and we’re all there to just play games together. I have real life friends to talk about those kind of things.
