the word list of banned words are not CREATED by the us divison. This list is a standard korean list of words banned. they ban the majority of english words… they ban whatever is popular to say in any derogatory way.
That does not matter, this should be something taken into consideration during localization. Don’t make excuses.

its not an excuse its reality… to keep their teen rating, imc us probably has to adhere to things korean set in place like this… not sure i could be wrong. but this is above your head.
The words gay, and apparently lesbian which is also blocked?? have nothing to do with a T rating.

That is a totally separate issue, that is because ass is banned and their filter doesn’t pick it up as a separate word from words with just those three letters in them.

Localized in the western world doesn’t make western culture/law should be superior
localizers are like mcdonalds workers… they dont create the menu. they just sell whats on it… the power you think localizers have is not the power they actually have… when they would like to have things changed in their version of the game. they have to submit requests… and find kan in accounting that can translate for them… the back and forth is tedious… and there are things the localizers will be denied from… as far as you and i know, this may be one of them…
