Seems afk farm was resolved on kTos

AFK farmers only end up playing themselves anyway in my opinion. They’ve have already lost interest in the mechanics of the game. Those who I know did it have always ended up playing bare minimum; usually when their interest is piqued by new content, rewards, or friend activity.

And they eventually they quit or go on hiatus. Usually after revisiting the game and finding it too easy / boring because they undermined all of the incremental progression, reward loops, and achievements from the game. Whoops, gj.

So does this nerf applies to hunting grounds? Will afk farms move there instead?

They will buy RMT =D

They will buy Tokens since the price will go up because no TP from GvG. IMC will get more money and add more channels. Resolved.

Wait til people realize the necros were the ones buying their overpriced junk on the market

I absolutely doubt this one and the only way I would ever believe it is if Kim Hakkyu wrote a contract in blood saying it to be true. The whole channel debacle thing is profound to me.

Do you not see the tool we have just been given? AFK at a spot (farmer or not, legit or not) and that spot dies (no more spawn). We can just do it out of spite. If I can’t play, no one can.

My goddess, so many ideas flowing into my head. So many ways this can be abused. This system actually got the green light?

most likely cause all the afk farmer in SEA servers are silver sellers and item sellers

It’s funny because it’s true :joy: and most will be crying like kids when this is implemented. Literally 1-4 Top guilds of SEA will be gone.

IMC letting the cheaters go on unpunished/without punshing them appropiately for so long and legit players leaving because of it hurt the population way more than actual cheaters leaving the game.

I do agree with people that the damage is done already and this most likely won’t bring back old players.

However, I do believe this should be implemented for us. Even if we can’t get old players back, this would help keeping new players and some returnees who came back for whatever reason to stay.

If we keep terrible systems in game just because it would make more players quit while it’s a contributing factor for players to quit in the first place, nothing will ever change then.

i think we actually were the beta test for this change for kTOS, coz before this news i noted something interesting in DP2, were if you just stand in 1 place mobs eventually stop spawning there, but move to the next spawn point and it is filled to the brim… (i semi-afk farm when i work… checking every 5-7 min approx) :smiley:

I know that some ppl will argue with me about Dina AFK farm, but too lazy to draw to explain it better, so lets say that you have a group of mobs that have a set place/small area to spawn… then you hog 1 place and negate the spawn of 1 area… BUT if a group of ppl hog ALL spawn areas, the failsafe of not spawning goes to hell and stop working and mob spawn in each individual spawn point once again…

For those who know a little of coding i believe it would be something like there NEED to be a spawn for the specific group in ANY of the specific area for that group, so the rule for it would be: check for available spawn point, then check for player nearby, repeat until all available spots are checked(they are finite), choose one random and spawn…

TL;DR nothing will change in iTOS due to it already be implemented here in mi opinion… so AFK farmers FTW and burn in the stake the Botters and ppl who use macro…

I wonder what should I do with that useless necromancer now.
That class is terrible aside os afk farming.
I least rework it, imc, because you created a necro for farming and now
you just take it. What are we supposed to do with that character?
