i think we actually were the beta test for this change for kTOS, coz before this news i noted something interesting in DP2, were if you just stand in 1 place mobs eventually stop spawning there, but move to the next spawn point and it is filled to the brim… (i semi-afk farm when i work… checking every 5-7 min approx) 
I know that some ppl will argue with me about Dina AFK farm, but too lazy to draw to explain it better, so lets say that you have a group of mobs that have a set place/small area to spawn… then you hog 1 place and negate the spawn of 1 area… BUT if a group of ppl hog ALL spawn areas, the failsafe of not spawning goes to hell and stop working and mob spawn in each individual spawn point once again…
For those who know a little of coding i believe it would be something like there NEED to be a spawn for the specific group in ANY of the specific area for that group, so the rule for it would be: check for available spawn point, then check for player nearby, repeat until all available spots are checked(they are finite), choose one random and spawn…
TL;DR nothing will change in iTOS due to it already be implemented here in mi opinion… so AFK farmers FTW and burn in the stake the Botters and ppl who use macro…
