The patch is described as marking certain players AFK, and then failing to spawn enemies around themâdoes anyone else see the problem with this?
Rule-abiding players simply AFK in-spot and sit there overnight. This patch would mean they are flagged as AFK and enemies would stop to spawn in their vicinity. However macro users, whether a full or simple script, can easily move around and perform actions so they are never flagged as AFK.
tl;dr? The patch punishes only honest players while legitimizing the claims of script-assisted players. ROFL IMCâthatâs a helluva joke lol
IMC should have taken other steps against AFK farming if they deemed it an issue, not just a patch that only punishes the rule-abiding player, hue
its a pretty good way of preventing afkers, so it would be retarded to afk now w and people that would still do it are macro users so its going to be easier to report those players

the ban list only bans 2~3 random players in Varena while the cleric, archer bot army and non-stop Uosis poaching is achieving itâs golden era here 'cuz most of us donât give a damn now since 10~20 out of hundreds of the top players/guild in our server are either RMT, Bot-handlers and exploiters.

Not a bad move but too late at this point. Not only this wont stop population from decreasing, it will drive those afkers away, or stop multi client. I doubt they will be foolish enough to quickly bring this here without considering there is only 500 âplayersâ left in some servers.
They should issue retroactive bans to every single afk farmer. Or at least wipe all their silver gains. But IMC wonât police the steam servers properly like Nexon does and the damage is already done, full attributes inflation etc

Jokes aside, a good way to fix this would be.
After 10 mins AFK, the char canât hit anything, it will attack, but no hits (like the mob is immune), only to who is afk.
For bots, after 20-30 minutes running around the map and the same as above trigger for them.
That is a wonderful idea and I hope IMC listen to it. I would also recommend that after a certain period, A captcha box will appear in a huge form and block the center view of the game, and also add a dim (Kinda like opening the map overview) into the background so the auto mouse script or any program that repeats a mouse click will have no effect whatsoever.
I honestly donât like that Captcha thing popping up, I used to play a game that had that and I died a couple of times while kitting a huge group of monsters or in a boss fight because of it.
With the method I described, the char should only be able to attack again after changing map for 10 mins and then coming back (doesnât work by only changing channels).
That is a double edge blade, but considering that we can apply conditions to it and only make it applicable to players whoâre under suspicion of botting and AFK. That being said, most bot will keep running and cannot attack or deal damage and I hope they spawn a high lvl mob for the icing
