if we are talking about individual server management
i think NA/EU TOS need to nerf AFK farm
keep AFK Farm for SEA/Silute, but make Token untradable in SEA/Silute.

I hope iTOS playerbase is ready for the bigwave of inflation once the AFKers get rekt⌠âGood luckâ - in Liam Neesonâs voice. Itâs been here for a while that a drastic change will mean higher item price.
Sample: huehuehue remember some/most of these afkers are also high lvl dungeon maps farmer, theyâll have to increase the price for other items if their other income (afks) got rekt.
Be careful what you wish for.

the afk farm nerf will definitely demotivate the population and a price hike for a short while
for the long run (as in 5 to 10years) , afk farm is bad⌠just look at legit kore bot for RO

This is exactly what i want. I want them to post their items at high prices just to watch people undercut them because the items never sell when placed for to high.
Coming from a person with a Necromancer that I never use.
AFK Necros are cancerous af and need to be DELET
I leveled Necro because it looked cool and strong, and was unpopular at the time (this was like 5 months ago where every wizard was elememe) I wanted the elememes to GASP at a Necromancer of all classes outdamaging them. and they did. But, Necro was never made for AFK farming. People found something that blurs the lines between feature and bug, and are exploiting it. Do you know how many cancerous people got a ton of silver for a ton of gear from being an AFK Necromancer so that they can level their META XD C3 PYROMANCER C3 LINKER SAGE LOL! ya. no.
DELET THEM
Do you know how long it took to complete that 1 quest at Dina Bee Farm where you had to kill like 20 bees? It took me 30 minutes just to find bees that werenât being one-hit killed by the necros. 30 minutes of my life, gone, for a quest that could have been done in 5 minutes.
Iâm actually leveling a Oracle and when it gets to C1, I will make it my priority to go to Dina Bee Farm and â â â â up allll the afk Necros. Heed my warning. Necros beware.
Iâm also going to bring my elememe back from the dead JUST to use rain. Like in missions, not gonna attack at all! Just gonna use rain to ruin pyromancers. IF I CANâT HAVE #1 DPS SPOT, YOU CANâT EITHER!
Yeah a part of me likes that too. But how about the new player base and the poor population? Remember there is a monopoly going-on for some items, the rich dictates the price itâll be us to adjust to what the price they want most of the time, since they donât really need more silvers. They can live w/o selling those items unless R9/new content comes and they need to sale it at cheaper price to afford the new content/items.
Reality bites.
How about having a 1 month notice prior the change.
"Hey AFK players find a new income generator because we will nerf you in X month(s) blah blah."
Then the player base can prepare for a month or so. Sudden economy change is really bad and it always hurts plebs-realcasual gamers.
I can understand most issues that people point for AFK necros, but honestly I think most people overreact, thereâs a lot of worse stuff to be fixed, BOTs , Bugs, Bad optimization, PVP balance etc. Those are the real reasons that make people quit.
Itâs not like thereâs nothing you can do agaisnt afk necro either, thereâs always tons of Oracles ready to have some fun killing them too. (Outside Dina Bee I agreee itâs an issue, especially in low lv maps! Maybe specific maps that allows AFK farm could be a possibility⌠Not sure. And if by any means an AFK necro is botting, then yeah, throw de banhammer on it)
Now about the economy of the game, itâs simple: Supply & Demand, you can say that itâs inflacionating everything and all of that, but the thing is, you can place the item for as high as you want, if someone is willing to pay for it, theyâll, if not youâll have to put the prices down again and again. Already saw Dandel gems from as low as 1.5kk to more than 4kk (the same with costumes & other stuff), and they keep changing from time to time regardless of the other stuff in the mkt, pots in the other hands, are always cheap AF, at least here in Silute you can try to raise the price as much as you like, thereâs always people lowering right away. And okay, ânow necro got a lot of money and theyâll raise the prices since they can buy anythingâ⌠People that are actively farming have way more silver and if theyâre willing to pay that amount for it theyâll do it in the same way so⌠Its not Necros that are making the rules at the game at allâŚ
Iâm not saying that itâs perfect the way it is, but IMO itâs not THAT big as some people think.

afk farming is like letting water tap running
the water drops 1by1, u wont immediately able to fill up a cup or something
but for long run, if u dont close the tap completely, itâll be leakage everywhere
but if u simply kill the afk farm without putting new afk silver making ways,
people will move to next âmost efficient/less effort farmingâ method
argument like "if you dont play by hand, you dont deserve a single cent"
this is demotivating.

First off, donât bother with the Oracle. It takes a lot of time on your part because the chance of the elite monster is so rare, you can spend upwards of 8 hours trying to find something that can do enough damage to the skeletons and the shoggoth.
Second, in the case of your successful change, their afk farming operations are so profitable that some of them even have seperate accounts they run for counter-Oracles who will change the elite mob back into trash.
And letâs be real about that reddit post. It isnât some casual new player running an afk necro, it is the old veterans you see everyday and who proclaim themselves to be super cool and love the game. Casual new player doesnât even run a token, so how would they transfer money.
I have been saying this for a long time now, the problem is IMC and always has been. They need to come out and make a firm stand on everything, leaving no room for ambiguous interpretations. Either say it is ok, or say itâs against the rules and bannable. I trust in human greed, I also trust in human cowardice. I think a lot of players wonât ruin their main account to afk farm if it is clearly against the rules. If its against the rules add that to the report bot feature and have the GMs check it out. If its multi client, than that should already be against the rules, so hunt those fuggers down and delete all affilitated accounts.
Donât be afraid! If China can run over protesting students with tanks in front of the eyes of the world, surely you can muster enough courage to permanently ban a few offendersâŚ

If all of those afk farmers had a way to trade silver directly and affect the marketplace I would agree, but they dont.
I donât predict prices for most items changing much if at all, since every playerâs silver exists in its own little vacuum.
The price of items will be at what the market will bear, and AFK farmers are a minority of the player base.

SEA server is basicly a few whales and majority freeloaders with silver and gear sellers contact through facebook via bank transactions but b4 there was SEA server China bots is the best 1mil for .29cents usd LUL

You might be suprised by the amount they earn after 2 years of dina bee farm LUL + botting and multi accounts things get even extreme if you are playing in SEA server
