Schwarzer Reiter (SR3) General questions (with the new updates)

As title says, any SR3 here? Would like to know your current stat distribution after the gem/hair accessory value changes. Haven’t seen any SR3 threads for while now.

You can answer in this format if you can. Thanks.
Path:(example A2-R3-SR3)

More power Archers

I have two SR, one qs3 an the other ranger 3. The first one was my first char, in ea days full str. Anyway now im playing my ranger reiter and she is full dex, and let me tell you something, all physical classes should be full dex these days beacuse how underwhelming is str in comparison with the gears, gems and trascendend system. (IMC said they will rework str but no clue on that).

Im using yellow gems in the main hand and red ones in the off hand.

Thanks! So full dex (with cons of course) R3-SR3 is good.

Curious, aside from your stat distribution, do you find the ranger spec helps you more for SR3 or QR3 running shot helps you more as SR3?

Personally I dislike the style of ranger, and the only good thing about it is stead aim. Without Steady Aim, do you lose THAT MUCH damage compare to QR3, who’s specialize in both aoe and boss killing?

Well, both has pros and cons, but in overall and considering the actual meta, i would recommend you the ranger version. One of the main reasons i can give you is in grinding parties you almost never use running shot, people always want kill packs, and steady aim really boost your retreat shot. When i was leveling the qs i only use my aoes and caltrops (caltrops is very nice) but almost never running shot. Though as you said is QSR good for soloing and for bosses, but i dont know man, its your decision.

(butting in) I just hit A2-R3 and the skill rotation is quite good, you just have to wait a couple of seconds then bam you can spam your skills again imagine + SR3 skills. The dmg or R3 skills (bounce shot and spiral) at 0 attribute is not really good though, haven’t updated them yet but I’m loving the skill rotation  It’s more a tactical build where you need to position to obtain the maximum dmg on mobs.

Yes, bounce shot damage is quite low but has great utility provoking mob.

On your qs-sr, does [pavise] dismount?

yes it does

Wow, that definitely need to get “fixed”. Retreating into a pavise woulda been great.
