The class was supposed to use Pistol/Shield even the icon of the class are the equipment used, I understand that they changed because you couldn’t use the archer skills but you could switch to bow to use the skills. Musketeer has the same issue but instead of changing the core equipment they made you don’t care for the archers skills because the Musk skill hits like a truck. They should keep the shield/pistol and work with that instead of changing to crossbow/pistol, or even keep the change and allow it to use the shield and pistol. I was thrilled with my build, I spent days working on it and got to QS3 and discovered you no longer can use pistol/shield and the Class Attributes from Quarrel Shooter “Shield Mastery: Missile Defense” will have no effect on this build, I’m frustrated to keep playing. Does anyone fell like me? Can we make this happen?
They changed the Schwarzer Reiter considering the players who complained about the lack of synergy and saw no reason to create him, but they forgot the players who saw potential in the class and created him with focus on a Pistol/Shield!
